I was worrying about my arms looking a little unfeminine. then I looked at a picture of Madonna's arms with all those muscles. I dont feel so bad now.
I can be a bitch sometimes.

This is why books like The Lazy Crossdresser by Charles Anders exist.
Number one, there are plenty of women out there who aren't perfect either.
Like the book says, it's best to pick outfits that play down your less-than-flattering features. A guy/gal with big arms can look great in a spaghetti strap dress, but worn with a cardigan or jacket...which to me adds more charm. There's pleny of women that dress up sharply and sexy without bearing too much skin.

Oh, I'm with you. I am severely afflicted with UMA - Ugly Man Arms. Below is why I try to wear long sleeves or sweaters or long burlap sacks - to hide those unfeminine things!

Nathalie has the right idea here for sure. Every item of clothing I buy is designed to help me look good as a woman and to minimize my male attributes. Pretty simple really.

There are women out there with bigger muscles than I have, bigger stomachs, and deeper voices. Doesn't stop me from trying to look good, but it does give me more hope.

wish i had a pic to show.but i got you all beat im afraid i may never really be able to pass agen in public.i started working out,10 hours a week about a year ago,and ive been taking 1000 mils of testosterone a week, and a couple of other steroids with that. i now have 19 and a quarter inch armes full of muscle so i think my only outlet from now on will be dressing en fem but not to look like a woman.im gonna miss that but i guess i will get used to doing the androgenous look thing.hey its better than not dressing at all.id die if i couldent enjoy a nice pair of pantyhose, and a bra.

Don't feel bad or ashamed of having big arms. Even though I occasionaly still have hang ups about mine. I actually at times like them.

I also have very muscular arms and prefer long sleeves but my real problem in being passable is my very masculine voice - my strong point is my legs are great in a pair of black pantyhose - I guess we all do the best we can with what we've got - Ellen

Katie and Faith,

Now both of you stop! You both have great arms! I for one would rather see a GG anf TG with firm developed arms than one with skinny sticks.

I have big arms; 15 inch biceps not flexed and 13 inch forearms not flexed. I try to minimize them by wearing long sleave.

Found a sleaveless pic, not so attractive

It was fun wearing the dress though.

and speaking of appendages...my hands are positively the least feminine things I can imagine. I find myself hiding them, the way my grandmother hid her arthritic hands.

But you have the slender body all girls dream about. Good idea with wearing sleeves to hide the arms. It is not the size that is the giveaway, but usually the prominent veins.Yeah, that's the problem with having very little body fat - every bump and bulge is clearly visible. As other posters have said, we either need to come to grips with it and realize that we're not the only sex afflicted with this (yes, GGs can have serious guns as well), or use the fashion sense God gave us and wear long sleeves! :)

Dana, your arms look great, by the way.

When one feels the need to cover their arms, we can be creative.

Here's a pic of me in 2008. The lacy cover-up is a swim suit cover-up. :D

the combination of Man Arms and broad shoulders!

After all, what are we to do? We throw around 14 pound chain saws for hours at a time, through around 40 pound chuncks of wood, move logs at hundreds of pounds, and throw these wood chuncks into a furnace every day, so being stuck with muscles and broad shoulders is just the name of the game.

But almost everyone has clothes issues and it's knowing how to deal with it that GGs learn from birth, so it's just the same thing that we much learn to leave fantasy and go to reality.

sigh....more's the pity!

I too have this UMA problem I have tried over the last year to minimize the bulk by cutting down on upper body training focusing more on cardio and yoga. During this time I lost about 1 1/2 form my biceps. I still have a hard time finding long sleeves, but I can find some now at least.
