Janet Partially Out of the Closet

Although I have gone out numerous times as Janet, I have not revealed my crossdressing to anyone I know.
Until today.
I just revealed myself to an ex that I am still good friends with. I am nervous to see what she says. I will keep everyone posted. If it goes OK, this might be the nudge I need to reveal to my SO. If not, it might be a while before I take that leap!

ewww, I would leave out that detail if you possibly could. Sometimes survival requires concealment!

I can only agree: the ex probably should have come second. Still, you had less to risk with her than with your SO.

Except for one issue---my wife is a very conservative, strictly as she was taught by her parents type of person. I know what her reaction will be. I can't afford to be out on the streets right now. I have to get my ducks in a row before I tell her. The ex is an ex girlfriend that has been out of the picture for 15 years, although we have remained close friends. I wanted to tell her first for support and advice, especially moral support. No offense to you all, but moral support is a lot better face to face instead of on a computer screen.
