:daydreaming:I am currently writing a little about my cross-dressing experience, and am looking for a little feedback from all you CD ladies out there... Here's a little excerpt from my personal blog (http://www.dawnforever.com), that I would love to hear your opinions on.

I knew when I decided to try this, that I’d eventually need a way to proportion my body correctly, so I paid a little visit to TrueKare, and ordered my first pair of brand new breast forms. I only ordered a modest C cup, because I really don’t need to blow all out for my first time. I waited patiently for the couple of days it took for my forms to reach me, and when I arrived home from work, I celebrated by taking a nice relaxing bath, dressed up in my favorite panties and jeans and prepared to try on my first bra.

While this is directed at my fellow crossdressers, all opinions are welcome!

Why so terse? :)

Give us details, girl! Let us know what steps you took to prepare. What color your top was, more importantly - how you felt. When you write, don't write like a guy (no offense :)), if something makes you feel like a girl, write like a girl!

kathi,

that's exactly what i mean. I've been writing as a guy for the better part of twenty-four years, so writing en femme is extremely new to me.

About a year ago, my wife and I began playing with crossplay, where I would wear panties, and she'd take charge of our fun. I enjoy having a good time regardless, and I started wearing panties full time, because I enjoyed it. Over time, I began buying and wearing my own panties, and then I bought a couple of pairs of jeans. The more I dress up, the more fun I seem to have, so I eventually felt that I wanted to try dressing fully as a woman to see what I felt like then.

So far, my underwear collection is 100% panties, three bras, with two pairs of jeans and two pajama sets (one cute orange set, and one pink).

When I tried my forms on for the first time, I felt so sexy, and frustrated, because right now, I feel hopeless about ever reaching the point where I feel comfortable in public dressed en femme. And feeling comfortable is important to me.

Forgive me... Too many commas ? The sentences (which do make perfect sense, and scan very well) seem somewhat fragmented.

Just my opinion :D

Girl...GIRL!

You need to go shopping....did ya hear me?? SHOPPING with capita letters. You need many more bras, one in EVERY color and style. You need high heels...ALL colors! Then off to the dress stores. Don't be shy...Just go in and tell them you need some dresses. They will absolutely flock to you to help you get some stylish and appropriate dresses, skirts and tops. They won't judge you...they'll just take your money and send you on your merry, womanly way. Then, by all means a makeup session at a makeup store. Have them fully make you up, using the most appropriate colors for your skin and hair color....Oh, by the way...you've just got to get some wigs. Try Paula Young on the internet (paulayoung.com). Gee girl, get with it...then take lots of pics so we can see your pretty feminine appearance.

Hi, Dawn.

I agree. I would love to hear more about the joy and excitement of the whole experience. Use some figurative imagery. Engage the senses. What did it feel like, both physically and emotionally? Getting your breasts is a special experience for a girl. A rite of passage. Honor it by sharing it as fully as you can. From the reader's perspective, it is fun and validating to read another's story and feel a sense of recognition or even kinship.

I sympathize with the fear of not being able to pass. Sometimes my TG goals feel far away too. (I've finally decided to do more for my Josie this year and take more steps to get to where I want to be. To let her blossom and shine and eventually share her with the world.) Especially when I compare myself to others. My advice would be to hold that image of the beautiful woman you want to be (and already are really, it's just a matter of externalizing what's already inside you). See it as fact. Know you will get there, are getting there. Don't let fear and doubt creep in. Instead, hold to this vision. Love it. Celebrate it. Celebrate yourself. And enjoy the journey. Enjoy whatever step you are on. Enjoy wearing the panties and pajamas and feeling feminine. Feeling gratitude brings more into your life to feel grateful for.

You're going to make it. So am I. I hope it helps you to read this. It helped me to write it. So I am grateful for you and this thread and the invitation to do so. :-)

LOL. Paula, I like the way you think. Can't wait until I get a little more comfortable because I want to go SHOPPING with capital letters. It feels nice to hear the sales ladies are helpful and non-judgmental. That's what I love about Lane Bryant. The girls there are always so nice to me (en drab). Mmmmm. Starting the day with nice feelings about shopping. I love it.

Wow! I can't image a better way to try on the forms for the first time. You have ritualized the event and you are the richer for it.

Thank you all, I need as much imput as I can possibly get. As far as shopping goes... I don't seem to have a problem with it, but I make a modest salary, and am just trying to ensure that I cover everything else that I need for my family before I satisfy my own feminine wants.

Jayme, you're right. I am a little nervous posting on such a forum because I'm new to this. I assure you that I am a better writer than I am demonstrating at the moment because of my nerves!

Love you all,

It would cost you just a few dollars more, but next time get your breatforms from Janet's Closet. I compared the TrueKare to Janet's forms, and hers are a little nicer. Plus, she is a very sweet T-Girl and is therefore one of us, so I would like to give her my business whenever possible !
