The wife and I were watching this show on LOGO this week, I was of course having to listen to just how sick they are and all a bunch of q@#%$s and the such. BUT then she did the ultimate taboo.. she had the nerve to call them crossdressers.OMG  I imediately went on the defense of all of us out there. I told her they are not crossdressers they are drag queens and there is a huge difference. No self respecting crossdresser would ever be so flamboyant and over doing there makeup and dresses like that. Crossdressers are more conservative than to wear half the things they wear on that show. I love the girls on the show and wish I could look as good as some of them, but I could not (Ithink) go out so wild. Does anyone else watch this great program??

 Oh no she didn't. Lol funny story sort of. Sure would have pissed me off if my wife spoke rude like that knowing all the facts.

I've never given Drag versus CD a thought before, and at first I thought huh same thing, but after a second I can relate, I want to look good and blend in when I go out versus, drag is all about showing off, not to mention that I have heard real women that like to go out in DRAG, and thus also verifies the difference.

Thanks for defending my honor, in my absence, you're my hero. :hugs:

I only saw the show once as I don't have it on cable.
Some of the girls were gorgeous, but for sure they were over the top on their outfits and mannerisms.
I watched it with an unsuspecting male friend and had to keep my views contained for obvious reasons.

I seen it this weekend. I thought it was informative yet entertaining. They are over the top for cross dressing but, could very much pass in the world if they did crossdress. I don't think I want to go that far to pass but if I did I could only imagine the outcome.

Both my wife and I love the show. While there is a division the show does have a bit of information for Cd'ers and does get drag out in the public a bit more. Which at least will take some of the shock value out seeing some one in public crossdressing. I hope..
If nothing else the show has gotten me finally watching a reality type show, I feel dirty...
