JoAnne begins her transition

Dear Girls - it has been a long, long time since I have posted anything and I want all of you to know that JoAnne is in the process of transition from a crossdresser to a transsexual girl - I have been in counseling and I have been to my endocrinologist and I am taking my wonderful Estrogen pills and I am removing all of my body hair and I have chosen my Surgeon - I expect this journey will take another 12 months.

Those of you who remember my posts and all of the struggles that I was having over the last couple of years will be interested to know that the decision to "Transition" has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. No more depression, no more anxiety and no more migraines.

Transition is not for everyone, but it is the right thing for this old girl to do.

I will probably start posting in the transgender section of this site in the future, but I wanted to let all of you know what has been going on in my life.

Going TS is not for everyone (and please find a decent counselor when I say this).

Me, I'm not at that stage in my life anytime soon, or as far as I know...perhaps never, but I greatly respect those that do proceed down this path.
