I have just been informed that our office is having an appreciation dinner for all new employees in May. That means I get to dress up and be recognized by everyone since I started work here in January. I am so excited. I will be sitting with several girlfriends who have already asked me to be at their table. I have a dress and shoes all ready picked out and can't wait. Hopefully I will have pictures to post afterward so stay tuned.

Being from the UK I have no idea what an Appreciation dinner is, can you tell me more about it?

It's a dinner our company has for all the new employees hired in the preceeding year. It allows them to introduce the new people to the entire staff. :love:
