I've been dressing on and off (mostly off) for a long while. I've been very closeted and almost never leaving the house. But, once a long while ago.....

My sister-in-law had purchased a low cost wig and she and my wife were enjoying the novelty of it. I don't think anyone in the family had ever owned one, so, it was an unusual occasion. When I saw my wife wearing it, I had the same CD moment that all of us have: I wonder how much fun that would be to wear. :heehee:

Some months after that, sister-in-law was going out of town for a few days and I was asked to look in on the house, periodically, while she was away to ensure nothing unexpected occurred. I'm sure any one of you can see where this is going.

So, one evening, I told my wife I was going to check to ensure that everything was all right at her house. I would be late because there were a few things I wanted to tend to while I was there. It turns out that sister-in-law was approximately my size in everything. She was large for a girl; I was small for a guy. Perfect.

I enjoyed a glorious evening of dressing completely and, with the aid of her makeup and wig, left the house for the 1st time ever. I went for a short drive. It was nightime and I spent most of my time in my car. But, at 2 discrete locations, I parked and walked for a short way to experience the feel of it. :GD:

That was well over 25 years ago. Yet, it was so significant to me that, over 2 decades later, I can still remember the anxiety, the thrill, the awe, the excitement, and all of the other feelings that I felt that night.

Do others have memories of their first time or a significant time that stirs that type of excitement whenever it is recalled? :daydreaming:

We lived in Temple, TX. My wife had recently given me a wig of hers, and I so much wanted to venture out when fully done up.

I was off one day and after dressing decided to be brave, and went for it. 1976

I left the apartment, walked down the stairs and across the street to a neighborhood of detached houses, and walked around the block.

Everything went well until I returned home. As I was nearing my apartment door, I noticed the landlady watching me from across the court. So I pretended to knock on the door, slipped my key in, and opened it, pretending I was being greeted by someone on the inside.

Not long after came a knock on the door. Superman couldn't have changed any faster :D A quick wash off of the makeup, wet my hair and wrapped a towel around to make it look like I had just exited the shower. She was persistent, and waited all this time for me to open up.

I made sure to close the bedroom door, so she'd think the woman she saw entering was in there.

Funny how I didn't worry about what she might have been thinking seeing another woman enter my place and be in the bedroom.

I too have memories of going to a relative, friend, or neighbours house and wearing their lingerie. I always tried to put it back where I found it but sometimes I couldn't remember exactly how it was. I hope they didn't remember either! Sometimes I still get dressed and just drive around and maybe go in a convienience store or something just to show off.

So far, noone knows about my 2nd identity.
But I've been out as a girl just 1 time, to a costume party. Who has read my introduction topic will remember what I said about being an outsider, so the costume party took care of that part. And I remember how I felt. I felt good, and actually way more comfortable than in my normal daily life as a male. I had so much fun! Thank god I wasn't with any close friends, they would have noticed for sure... ;)
