Is there such a thing as a club for cross dressers? I know they have nightclubs for gay people and everyone else. But is there any for cross dressers?
Also does anyone have an estimate for how many cross dressers in southern California?

In the USA, there is a club for everything and anything, lol
I know there are a couple in Denver. I could not testify to them being specifically geared to TG. They are usually described in terms of "TG friendly" in advertisments. A good way to locate them is to check the "alternative" classifieds in papers of the city, the links listed on most TG or "gay" related sites online, or the sites geared to providing reviews and information, etc of the city of your choice entered into a search engine.
As far as an estimate for CD in southern California, I will guess it is about 2-3% of the population of the area you are interested in...plus or minus a 90% chance of error on my part. This is do to my total lack of knowledge in that area, the variance in statistical data for anything, and the fact that 9 out of every 5 people tend to have difficulty with math...and I happen to be one of them:tongueout:D:D

As of today, there are 1187 registered CDs in that area. There are also over 80,000 that haven't come forward yet... (these numbers have not been verified..)
When I lived in that area I went to Queen Mary and other very similar friendly clubs but that was many years ago. I am sure there are still nice places to go but you won't find them in the phone book listed under "CD clubs" We just don't operate that way. We are such a clandestine group and so individually secretive that a CD club probably would not have much business.
Get involved in the local gay community or whatever that is all-encompassing and welcomes all of us with open arms. Gay bars are great starts, they generally can tell you where to go....

I doubt a club specifically for CDs would have much business.
A club in Richmond has a specific night one day a month designated for the trans community to come out and enjoy, but it still open for everyone who is a member of the club or an invited guest.

Exclusively for CD's? That's pretty rare! However there are a number of places where TransFolk are welcome, and sometimes we can be a very significant minority.
Besides the usual LGBT Watering Holes that are usually tolerant, you might make some inquiries with The Goth Set, and "Alternative Lifestyle Clubs." The first time you stop by, bring a TG Friend. If your not used to The Surroundings and a lot of very different people, initially it can be very disconcerting . Then....you find out everybody's really cool, different, and very open. Turns out to be a huge heap of fun!

Specifically CD's? no. For TG people in general, yes, though they don't exclude non-TG people ( much the same way gay clubs don't exclude others, but you have to be cool with what the majority clientele are ).

As others have said - not really. But most all city's have a gay bar that caters to and welcomes cross dressers. In San Diego SRO (5th Ave) welcomes cross dressers any night, but Friday and Saturday nights there are many in attendance. The first time I went I was nervous as hell, but was openly welcomed and have now made friends of several other regulars.

The Hamburger Marys in Long Beach hosts TGirl Tuesdays. I read that CDs are welcome. They also host occasional TGirl Saturdays and this Saturday happens to be one of them.
