I have few hours to myself on Saturday, and this is an ideal opportunity for me to dress with no interruptions.

Over the past week I have been planning what I will wear, in every detail.

On these occasion I will often buy some thing new, this time it has been new panties & bra (in a light green colour). The problem here is I now have think about a new dress to go with them.

I was wondering if everyone else goes into as much planning as I do?

I don't plan a lot at all. I just take opportunities as they come. For shopping I do plan a little, looking around the internet for what kinda clothing I want to buy and what I want it to look like. But often when I finally go shopping, I end up not sticking to my plannings after all ;)

If I'm not going anywhere I choose what I wear seconds before I put them on. If I'm going out on a particular night I get my clothes in advance and set them aside.

Tilly, everyone shops differently and yes I have shopped from the inside out. Now it is from the outside in. How ever you approach shopping, it is the fun of shopping that is the reason to do so.

It is a rare treat these days for me to able to dress. I have all afternoon and evening this Thursday. I have bought a few items, thought about what I will wear, added to my makeup collection, obsessed about getting a new pair of heels and much more. I want to savor the time so yes lots of pre-planning to maximize my Tiffany time.

I do something sorta similar except it's more like I see a girl wearing something that I really like. So I end up spending the next week or two looking through shops for similar stuff to try and copy the look. It's not how I always do my shopping but it's gotten me some really cute outfits.

I will be traveling on a business trip in the near future. I should have at least two evenings to myself and plan to go out. I have been planning for the last couple of weeks, what clothes to take, what I will wear for each night. Planning where to go each night. I would say I definitely plan my major dresssing and outing sessions.

When I have some planned outings coming up in a week or two, I will spend one or two days to go through my varied wardrobe When i have friends coming in from out of town I may go out 2, or even 3, times in that week. I will select what I want to wear, skirt, top, shoes, nylons, if I am going to wear them, wig, jewelry, a a belt or not, and finally a jacket. I then put each outfit on a hanger with a small bag for the jewelry, and then into the closet it goes with the selected jacket covering everything up. I have come to really enjoy that preparation time as I get to experiment with different looks and styles, mixing, matching and clashing until I think I see the look that what I want to see. By doing this I have learned a lot about mixing, matching and clashing. I can wear the same top with multiple skirts, with shoes or boots and present a different style each time. I can do the same by keeping the skirt the same and varying the tops. It really is so much fun.

Come the day to go out, I can then concentrate on all the other physical preparation work and normally leave on time with minimum hassle.
