Yay I Got My Appointment For Lower Surgery:)

I got a phone call this morning which cheered me up no end after the sh***y time I've been have lately at work :( I got a phone call from the London Clinic in Harley Street to confirm an appointment on the 12th of April for consultation about my lower surgery :):):) I'm absolutely bouncing here. I know the work of these surgeons and its good as long as you stick to their advice re your health. I can't believe it coz my original letters to them in January got lost in the post and I didn't know until a few weeks ago. I wrote to them again and sent copies only two days ago and just as the secretary had said she rang me and gave me an appointment. I still can't believe it :eek::D xx Felix :hugs:

Hi Anne and once again thanx :) Yeah I'm so totally excited that I feel comfortably numb lol :) is that possible???

As for Helen thanx for asking :) she is up and about and controlling her pain with the tramadol and dichlophenac three times a day. She is doing a phased return to work and will be going with me tomorrow to Harley Street to see the surgeon with me :) 'm so glad she is well enough to do that :) I'll update you all tomorrow on what the surgeon says. xx Felix :hugs:

Dam I'm sure I posted what happened at my appointment obviously not my phone must not have sent it bugger :( hold on and ill update ya.

My visit went really well and I was offered the radial for arm phalloplasty :)

This is what he said would happen:-

Stage one complete hysto and condstruction of the phallo from the skin and radial artery of ya none dominant arm, replacing the skin from the bottom or stomack to the arm. Also if possible clitoral nerve hook up for sensation :)

Stage two ureathral hook up.

Stage three balls and implant so I can have sex.

Stage four the tip of the penis.

The first stage takes about eight hours. Hope this has helped

Sounds awesome, Felix! :) Now, for my own curiosity, in as non-graphic detail as possible, can you explain to me the possible nature of erections with this type of phalloplasty? And sensation hook-up; how much sensation we talkin' here? Yes, I do want to know. :ner: Or PM me a whole mess of details regarding the surgery; I don't care which way.

Edit: Oh, I'm also curious about scarring possibilities regarding where they remove skin.

Hi Ze my friend has just had his GRS Yesterday with the same surgeons I am going to be with. He said he's got full sensation on his penis on both sides because they extended the cli***al nerve this time and will embed it next time :) He said it looks and feels good and that when the sculpt the tip its gonna be great ;) the nurses said it looks good to and he said he will show me when I go to visit him on Thursday wow I can't wait :) Any how here is a link to a pdf that these surgeons have produced with pictures and info of all the procedures they perform. One thing they don't do the graft from the stomach any more to construct the phallo they only do the radial for arm phallo now they just havent re written the document yet. Here goes hope it works....
