Hi Everyone. On my last business trip I decided to drive home versus fly. I had an ulterior motive of course and that was to dress for the first time in public. I figured it was safe being in my car and all. Well it felt really GREAT and I was amazed at how many people did not notice. One young couple did and slowed down pointing at me an laughing.. Really hit me kind of hard. Couple of questions for you
1) Has anyone else done this?
2) What did you do when you had to make a rest stop so to speak?
3) Any advice for the cpl that noticed and laughed?

I drove across the US on us 10 dressed enfemme. The rest stops were either closed or had no one there when I stopped. I wouldn't be bothered with the couple that seen you. We can always expect something like that but most people just snicker as they pass by you when you have been read.

i used to drive around a lot dressed but got tired of it and had to get out and walk around.as far as rest stoping gos if you dont pass then find a safe place to pull over and pee if its number 2 you better get home.and screw the couple who laughed at you you should just smile back and laugh too that should disarm them.

i have driven around on many occassions while dressed. ive gone as far as venturing into the local malls when out of town as well, so i didnt run into anyone who might possibly recognize me. theres nothing like going shopping for female clothing while dressed enfemme. you'd also be suprised at the help you recieve from the young ladies in some of the stores. as for the restroom issues, ive managed to get to rest stops and check things out before going in, but usually wait til theres a lull and just use the ladys room. and for those who choose to laugh, laugh right back at them. it works for me... good luck and happy driving.

I drive enfemme all the time. The last time was a 6 hour drive in full femme,
wig, makeup the whole outfit, it's great. As for rest stops just find a secluded spot.

Congratulations on getting up the guts to do this.

I'd just think of the couple who were rude as just that, closed minded simpletons. Truth is with almost any lifestyle decision there will be these people. If you are a j-crew model, and walk into the "hood" then you will get snickered at.

I agree with jennifer, next time, just laugh back at them!

Well I've never exactly experienced what your referring to with that couple. Of course that's just because I'm only brave enough to go to safe places like goth and gay clubs lol. And anyone else i run into are working professionals that want my business so they keep it to themselves. I'm sure they say stuff after i leave but w/e. I think that's just the attitude we need w/e say what they want there just ignorant people that have never been exposed to this before. Anyway gratz to you  for having the courage to do this.

Hi there. I am sory to hear people laughed at you. Some folks are just not ready do not know how to deal with the out of the ordinary. Also they have bad manners.

Wanted to thank everyone for the encouragement. I decided in January 201 I would move ahead with my life long desire of being a girl and it is really great to have all of you reply with words of experience or suggestions. I was kind of taken back about the coupe laughing but now see another view point. I am who I am. Next time i will complete the experience with makeup and nail polish......

You are right it is a wonderful feeling driving while dressed. I think many of us started going out dressed that way. I use the ladies rest room. Forget the couple i have had that happen but I am now more paaasble.:)

That's the beauty of having a motorhome. The good part is having your own bed and breakfast on wheels. You don't have to stay in any expensive hotels, and wonder who did what in the bed, before you got there. We stop in a rest area to catch a few hours of sleep and then throw on a rob over your nightie, and down the road you go. Some of our trips, we just hit casinos, The only time we paid to camp, was when we had to empty the holding tanks. The down side is 7 1/2 to 10 mpg....BJ

I drive to Ohio and I can tell you the following answers:

1. Yes
2. In the early years I found a nice tree but now I go to a gas station that is not crowded and use the ladies room.
3. In my early years I had that happen to me by some teen girls while I was driving in a parking lot! I set a goal to see what they see and thats when my era of photo taking began. However I will say that if your driving and they are more focused on you I would speed pass them because they are asking to hit something. And do not worry about the idiots in the world just keep doing what your do.

My friend and I have been on a few journeys, while Dressed we try to do our business before we set off.but if you need to stop find a quiet spot and you should be ok.Once five of us set off for a weekend away, now that got a few looks

As for the young couple who laughed, well if sight of you dressed in your car does that to them well they aint worth a seconds thought,iv'e found the best way to react to them is blow them a kiss,That really stops them in their tracks, they dont quite know how to respond to that lol

Driving while dressed is great fun. be sure to pull your skirt up so the truckers can get a bit of a thrill. So what if someone laughs or giggles, it may cause a little embarrassment but I like to think of the joy I have brought in to their dreary little lives.

Oh your in for a thrill now. It starts with just driving around, then you want to get out and walk around. Next thing you know you'll be out shopping. :heehee:

I think for a lot of CD's with cars, this is their first experience of going out. If I need to use the Ladies, I try to find ones that I can get in and out of without attracting to much attention. As for the couple, just laugh it off. I personally wouldn't blow kisses or make any other gestures to anyone who had cottoned on to the fact I was a man en femme. It's one of my safety first rules, as it could turn nasty quite easily.

1. So often that it feels strange in drab
2. At first I used to look for a quiet country lane but have gained confidence over the years and just head to the nearest ladies. I've got this really useful App. on my phone that locates the nearest which has come in handy when desparate!
3. I've often had strange looks and sniggers at me even two women checking themselves in the mirror elbowing each other and giggling as I walked behind them on my to the cubicle, I could hear them whispering in debate while I was in there and still there when I came out I washed my hands reached into my bag for lippy and brushed through my hair and walked on by saying "goodday ladies" in my undesguised voice. One of them burst to the other "see I told you so"

I'm not always that braizen but on a day when I feel good I just don't care!

I go out in public a lot and use the rest rooms as needed be it on the Hwy or public buildings I have never had any problems. I have been laughed at by a young couple in a grocery store once and I just ignored them after giving them a quick stare. I would not let that stop you from stepping out.:hugs:

I have been going out en fem for a number of years and have taken many long drives. The longest was a 2 day round trip between NJ and Boston which is just under 300 miles each way. I made several stops along the way in each direction and on each occasion I used the ladies room and never had a problem.

I stopped worrying about what other people think or do a long time ago and just enjoy being myself. People may laugh but I also have plenty of truck drivers who look down at me in my convertible and honk their horns. Don't worry about other people, just be yourself, enjoy life and have fun.
