After a lifetime of secrecy, From 5 up until 22. It is done. "No more April Fools, No more Haloween, No more shopping for my girlfriend, Mother, Sister, etc." No more excuses. No more seperate myspace accounts, I am now one. I posted my new wine pic on my REAL facebook where old friends, teachers, people from my childhood, professors, and the whole world can see. I have exposed the Beauty from inside that has been hidden from the world in bondage.

Now all my fears, insecurities, and mental barriers die with a resounding bang and without any tears shed from my part. The intolerant people can take my blood but never my freedom.

No more do I have to hide behind an Alias. No more do I have to hide my face, No more do I have to hide what I am from anyone. I am free. There will NEVER be a moment in the rest of my life where I have to confess to my wife, or my girlfriend.

it would be 30 years back for me,

but if i were to come out i would lose my job right from the get go. laws not with standing...just how my co workers would react. my "friends" ?
due to work hr's i am alone in a sea of people.

you have got it right, be one with your self from the start, no hiding, no lies, no ?. be your self and we all here are behind you, so lets hear how some of your life goes. :daydreaming:

Congratulations Jade - Be proud of who you are and what you stand for. Never apologise, never hide. Get out there and have fun. People accept you much easier if you've already accepted yourself!

You will find, as I did, that it's a much lighter road when not carrying a load of fear and guilt on one's shoulder. And that for all the things one should be prepared to face and lose, about 98 percent never happened and was all in my head. A happy heart is a fearless heart. Carol

Well heres what happened:

Nobody cared.

The End.

Wow, Jade! Maybe they are thinking about it? Or maybe they are waiting to see who comes in the room the next time they see you?

I've "come out" to a number of people and most of them have had little problem with it. Some did, and I just don't see much of them anymore.

At my congregation's Ladies Auxilliary I announced that I was changing my name in order to "fit in" (I've always attended in "high androgyny rather than completely en femme) and everyone just went on with life, only now they mostly remember to call me by my femme name. It was "no big deal."

So it is very possible that people are accepting you as you are. And that is a great, liberating feeling.

Some will accept you, some won't, but, as Rick Nelson sang in "Garden Party," "you can't please everyone, so you've got to please yourself."

Never been happier in my life since my epiphany and living only as female, name and ID both, employed as such too.

Totally inspirational, Jade.

Well heres what happened:

Nobody cared.

The End.

This has certainly been my experience. So many of us worry needlessly about what other people think. The truth is that most people are so caught up in their own issues that yours are of minor import, if any, to them. And we're lucky to live in a time in which the media has given the general public enough of an education about transgender issues to create a greater general acceptance than ever before. It's never been easy to be different, but it's probably easier than ever.

Again, congratulations! You've done the right thing and an incredibly brave one as well! My wife and a few others know about me, but one day I'll work up the courage to lay all the cards on the table as well.

Well done! :)

Heres what you guys need to do. Nobody cares, because Im being myself. When you be yourself, you transcend the labels, Crossdresser, Transvestite, pervert, monster, etc. Nobody cares because they thought I was weird even before I came out with it hahaha.

aggi123
04-12-2010, 09:06 PM
I'm not weird though...well not too much lol.

I was seriously considering doing that since I'm already out to my closest friends and was curious to see how most people reacted to it. I'm definitely planning on being 100% out eventually, so it might not matter too much. Not sure.

In the end, nobody really cares lol, I just could no longer live with myself having to keep such a great transformation ability a secret, Then again. I only associate with people who are open minded. So I'm like eh, I got nothing to lose, and everything to gain.
