I just started going out with a small group of my friends and I (some xdressers, some not(Peter) and a GG(Jackie) or two) for fun every once in a while. We usually met a someone’s house the GG will help or give is help looking/acting/being feminine. I have done this 3 times.

It is fun and they get into tell us how to act, sit, walk. We get critiqued right and left. This is great. I would even get help on my make-up.

Sometimes we just hang out and don't go out. We have had some interesting discussions. Do you like girls or guys? Keep you knees together unless you want to show the world.

I love girls but I have had this unusual feeling for the first time. I had spent some time with my friend Jackie. I use to look at her and wanted her body (as a guy) but I caught myself envying her body and wanting it as mine.

For me as some one firmly in the closet I have yet to meet another Cder or a GG whilst dressed and would love the opportunity to talk make up, shoes etc for a while. Sadly, the nearest I get is this forum! If I want time to dress I have to rent a hotel room or wait until I am away on business.

I just go out on my own. Here in redneck Ohio those willing to come out of the closet are very scarce! (I'm the only one I know of in my town)
Well, somtimes my SO goes with me.

Hi Prene, that sounds like great fun. So glad you are getting out. I really like the idea of meeting at someone's house and and just talking and improving makeup, etc. Wish more of us were willing to get together. Giving it time.

I'm very lucky to at least have one very good CD friend. She helps me immensely.

Such a group is really my wish to find. With some supporting people close to me it would be so much easier coming out.
But even in the local LGBT community CDs seem hard to find in my area... Maybe they're all more closeted, it's hard to believe there aren't any.

There have been several people in my immediate friend circle who've seen both sides of me. I'm only going to mention two of my friends and hopefully I won't draw this post out hehe.

My stylist friend, Elizabeth, has been helping me with my styling for both my male and female/androgyne side these past three months. It's kinda cheating because technically I should learn how to style myself, but it gives me an opportunity to meet her at a common ground and start talking about fashion - something that most men don't really talk about with a girl. We actually got into a very deep conversation last night about CDing and what it means to me, but I won't hijack this thread with that.

My friend Brandon saw some of the initial pics I took and posted here of me with the girl/androgyne black jacket/pants outfit for Disneyland this year and, while he said that seeing me as a female looked scary, he applauded me for having the courage to be that way for 12 straight hours at the Happiest Place on Earth and added that he wouldn't have the bravery to do what I did.

So in short, Alex has a big sister and a little brother who she gets to talk to regularly and be comfortable around being herself!

You are most fortunate to have friends that you can get suggestions from. It beats trying to work on this alone.

It sounds like you are really getting into your feminine persona. Congratulations!

When I go out am usually with another cpl CDers, and meet up with all kinds of people, but I find rather than getting tips of GGs im usually the one asked for advice, that doesn't half give you a boost,Have had girls in work too ask for advice, and even got given a cpl of dresses off one of them
