Procedure done!!! The "boys" are no longer going along for the ride, LOL. Two hours to the city (Chicago), about 3 hours at the hospital, another two hour drive home, and its done. So far very minimal pain or discomfort. An ice bag and NORCO is the plan for the rest of the day. Thanks for all the kind words, more to follow.

Got rid of the dang thing a year back from last Nov. It is a piece of cake and you will be glad they are gone. The only thing that happend since is that i do still get hot flashes but they only last a few minutes.

I am glad all went well. Take it easy over the weekend and don't do any heavy lifting.

Day two update. Feel like a million bucks, reminded my wife to make me take it easy. Very minor pain, except for the god awful constipation from the anesthesia. That issue resolved. Pain meds on the shelf, ice bag still handy though.
