View Full Version : One small step for a girl...

Dressed up tonight in a short dress, thigh-highs and full makeup, and looked so good to myself in the mirror that I couldn't stand to stay home. As soon as it got dark, I traded the 4-inch heels for more practical 3-inch ones, put my wallet and keys in a purse, and sneaked out to the car. Heart pounding, I backed out of the driveway, unaccustomed to driving in heels and not sure where I was going.
I turned down a relatively untraveled road and ended up in the parking lot of an office park with only a few cars present, parked and walked around a bit in the dim light. That felt ok, so I drove next through a parking lot bustling with late shoppers, who didn't seem to stare as I passed. Confidence was building.
Realizing I was out of cash, I then drove to a bank with an outdoor ATM and pulled into the spot closest to it. I waited in the car while a 20-something guy finished his transaction, then got out and walked to the cash machine, trying to remember the walk I'd practiced so much at home. The light over the ATM was bright, and I felt like I was on stage. As I waited for the money, I realized that the young man was sitting in his car with two friends, watching my every move.
As I got back in my car, they peeled out, leaning out their open windows, yelling and whistling at me. What a feeling!
Next time, though, I think I'll leave off those extra-prominent nipples.

Yea I bet you didn't want the extra attention. Lol.. But we all took our baby steps at one time or another. Mine was pale compared to yours. Good luck, cause now your addicted and will want more and more and more..

I know the feeling of waiting in the car trying to talk yourself out of it and into it at the same time while waiting for the people of the world to disappear so you can go where you please, But if they di what fun would it be to be out dressed.:heehee: Glad you got out

I know that was fun, I've done the same thing! There's nothing like getting cat-called to/whistled at (happened to me leaving a book store). I'll be Debbie Downer, though - next time you're at an ATM late at night and some guy is there, wait for him to leave the parking lot. It's relatively easy to rob a girl when no one is looking. And if we're that girl, who knows what the reaction may be when (if) the robber realizes... Showing a little bit of caution will still lead to a fun, exhilarating, experience.
Now just continue to go out and be happy!

Welcome to the outside world. Nobody will be able to keep you locked in the closet now.

What a wonderful story, and wht a huge step in your journey. Perhaps next time you'll be out when it's day time.
I applaude your courage. Keep going down the road. It is the road less travelled, but it's lots of fun.

Thanks to all for the encouragement. I can't imagine going out in the daytime, at least at this point. I think low light and distance are my friends. It was so exciting that I went out shopping today (in drab) and bought a silky dress, a blouse and indecently short denim skirt, bathing suit and shoes, all at thrift shops. For the first time, I wore stockings and a bra under my guy clothes and stripped down to try them all on in the changing room. Another thrill!

This is great news Stacey! I wish a lot of the members who haven't had the courage to go out would read this and have the courage to do what you just did. The fun part's just about to start :)!

And the world didn't stop turning and the sky did not fall. And there is a lighter heart in the night. Another step further, happiness around the corner.

Stacey, I am glad that you feel more confident going out, I don't know what side of DC you live in but going into DC and doing the Mall around the museums and monuments is a good place to go during the day because everyone is from out of town and looking at buildings and not people. I know I have. Teresa

I think its awesome that you went out!, buttt
A dimly lit parking lot on an untraveled road? An atm after dark with a carload of young men there? These are classic settings to become a "victim". Please be careful and use a bit of common sense!

One of my first ventures out was to the post office, at night. I was alone in the lobby and still shaking as I fished in my purse for money for the stamp machine to get letters in the mail. Still, it felt great looking back, at least once I'd actually done it and survived. :) Back then I was terrified just opening the garage door in girl mode. Not so much anymore.

Congrats on your first time out enfemme, you've only just begun, you will continue to expand your enfemme boundaries as time goes on. when I first started dressing enfemme it was only at night, now I like to go out enfemme during the day. especially when the weather is warm.

Congratulations on that first step!
Now your problem will probably be resisting the urge to go out XD
