This evening my wife & I were driving through one of the strip malls heading to one of the anchor stores & passed by a Dress Barn store that had a "Buy 2 dresses save $10.00". I noticed the sign and so did my wife, she looked at me & said if we did that we could match each other. Just the thought of it brought a smile to my fac, even though we will most likely not return to the store & purchase anything as money is tight with me being out of work right now. It also let me know that even though she can go for months without mentioning Lacy at all, while I begin to wonder if she is no longer accepting, that she apparently still is ok with Lacy. These things combine to brighten up my previously poor day. :)
Have any of your S.O.s ever just come out of the blue like that & just cheered you up without realizing they are doing it?

My beautiful Bride wrestles with this like a champion everyday. The struggle certainly is not easy for her, but amazingly she often comes through with little signs of acceptance. She bought me a necklace with an S on it. We get our nails done together. We shop together and talk about what looks best on us. I am sure she doesn't do these things because she feels the innate need to do them or because she loves having Suzanne as a girlfriend. She does them because she loves me and I can't ask for anything more. God has blessed me with her.

I am glad she is there to help you through the tough time of being unemployed. Hopefully soon you will that job you were always meant for and then both of you can buy that dress to be matchy match. :D

Noeleena: I agree it means a lot to me & I am thankful
Natalia: I am glad your wife is supportive, & in my experience Lacey helps my stress level go down.
Karren: Steak, of course that counts if it cheered you up, I know steak always cheers me up, its one of my vices in that I can eat 2-3 times the suggested red meat serving in one setting 5 times a week or more.
Suzanne: Its great she is so supportive of you even if she doesn't love the activity, & that you realize it & appreciate it. I agree one could not ask for more.
AKAMichelle: I'll find work eventually, there is just a flood of people with my degree or similar & a huge cut back in the positions for the pool of us. It will happen when it happens. Someday maybe on the matching, can wish for it though in the mean time.

yes.... came home to find a nice little leopard print satin chemise on the bed for me. I came downstairs with puzzled look, and wonderful wife said "I thought Desiree would look hot in that."
