just a quick post so I can show this picture because I am sooooo proud of it :brolleyes:

Tuesday night was out on the town night. I don't typically do this during the week but when the plans were made it was supposed to be "drag night" at this bar. It wasn't...:o (they don't do that anymore)
As is typical of this kind of planning I was real busy when I hoped to close early, so I had to get ready in 30 minutes. Being a weeknight, simple just had to do. I was not pleased with it but time was a factor
We grabbed dinner at a great local restaurant, the Cherokee on 12th. It wasn't too busy and the staff was very attentive. Being a fashionista I of course wore shoes that were too tight after a long day. Being a longtime crossdresser i was smart enough to bring a different pair. The patrons at the restaurant were cordial with only short and from what I could see accepting glances.
After that we headed to the "Her Bar". I had never been there before but you gotta love a place that posts on their website "for women and men who dress like women". If you ever are in Denver, I would recommend this place over...um...other "TG friendly" establishments. It is just like any local corner bar (tucked in behind a porn shop). We started at the bar and Phil the Bartender was excellent. We didn't know they had "bar food" but next time beer and nachos!!!!! Over to the pool table (and somewhere on the site I won't say where is a really ugly picture of me shooting pool) and watched the Avs lose in OT.
So it was a hectic night, whirlwind excitement but great fun.
