Ever been tempted on vacation to dress?

I just came back from a vacation in the southeast (Carolinas) with the family and I have to tell you, I was SO jealous of the women down there. I wanted nothing more than to be beautiful and lounge by the pool with the shaved legs, shapely figure, cute little bikinis, and ponytails. I saw tan local girls with gorgeous bodies in little sun dresses and wanted to be them!

Since I'm still deep in the closet, over 6', pretty hairy, and don't have a feminine shape (even with help), I guess I can only dream of being in that position.

I know this is more of a confession and vent that any question so to turn it into one, has anyone else felt this way while out on vacation? Tell me I'm not the only one!

I have never felt what I would describe as "jealousy", in regards to anybody else really, but I understand your point.

Up until a couple of years ago, I owned a condo right on the beach in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. A couple times when I was down there, I would go out and walk on the beach in various female attire.

But it was always at night, and I would always have something like a sweatsuit on the outside when using the "freight" elevator down to the beach level. (security guards all knew me). It was really cool and exciting walking along the beach though...(just the private beach, I never ventured all the way to the public beach...too paranoid, lol).

Those were fun days...I miss the beach.

Yes, I have.
As a matter of fact, my wife and I are going on a cruise and I plan on staying en femme most of the time.
I have always thought about it and now it will be a reallity.

it is one of my hopes that I will have the time and money to take a vacation and dress up for the entire time. at present I don't have enough outfits or practical shoes. and my dressing is usually done on weekends if I get my home work done.

I work so much and have no money. get time off, but no money to go anywere.
I hope next year if I can take a cruze...but need a second due to pricing per cabin.

I am so tempted no mater where I go.. I've just taken a couple days off and gone on my own mimi-vacation just to be able to dress a few times... Was a blast.

I'm leaving on wed. for vacation to Florida for ten days and will have to miss dressing for that period of time, It will be a long ten days. I need the vacation but will miss the opportunity to dress.

Not really out to the world, but one year while at lake Tahoe, I was so into the idea, I went into a gift shop in one of the casinos and bought myself a skirt and tee, with a Tahoe logo on it. But I never got the nerve to leave the room in it. I also picked up a couple of charms and started my own charm bracelet, I have been collecting charms every since. Wish I had been braver, I guess it's true, we regret what we didn't do, more than what we did.

I actually did vacation for a week as Wendy a few years ago, in Charleston, SC. It was my first vacation with the woman who is now my wife and she encouraged me to try it, and even bought me some bathing suits so we could go to the beach! It was fun, though the close shaving every day soon became a painful nightmare. I would certainly do it again, if the shaving were not such an ordeal.

yes i am lucky enough to be able to dress whenever i want on vacation, we rent private cottages, a lot of my album photos are from various holidays we have taken, having a wonderful wife makes all the difference, although i must agree with Wendy the close shaving every day becomes tedious, hope you get the chance one day Ashley

closest Ive ever came to going out dressed was on a vacation. Wound up staying in my room dressed and going out male. But, I did get some stares that I couldnt figure out until I realized I was wearing just regular swim trunks, that showed the lines from my bra straps- I started to panic, and then realized that at least for that much, I didnt care.

I just spent a few days in Las Vegas at DLV and your dream is more than possible. I'm over 6' tall and don't pass well, but I sure had a wonderful time. I can tell you this, it's much easier to do this with a lot of other T-girls around, just to get used to the experience and build your confidence. To do it totally on your own can be more than a little nerve-racking.

There are probably a dozen different opportunities each year that might meet your needs and alot of private transformation services that would help you dress and get out for an evening. Do a little looking around and you might find a way to live the dream, at least for a while.

I've got a vacation coming up where I'm going to New York, and I would love (theoretically) to be en femme for part of it (maybe a trip to some clubs?), but I know it won't happen.

Instead, I'll enjoy the fact that I've got a few days off before I travel, so I'll have a few days at home where I can just enjoy being Emily by myself. :)

The group has a website that runs trips for us girls and there wives if the want to go. Or single girls can share a room if you want to save money. I have also gone to Disney / Las Vegas / among other places dressed and not had any problem. Believe me 98% don't care what you wear or for that matter even take a second look.

I try to get at least a long weekend each summer in Provincetown on Cape Cod. You can dress there and nobody bats an eyelash unless it's someone hitting on you. Willow

Maybe that's why my luggage is always more than the wifes. Packing for two!!! Have had the chance to dress pretty for a day or two before. Now want to spend the entire vacation with only Tanya and Wife. Wishing to take the Cruise someday. Maybe sooner than later, or the two piece will have to stay home.

first, i never get enough vacation! lol

i do travel much and so get the opportunity to dress when on the road. At one point, i used to make it out to Hawaii...nothing like work and an play in Hawaii. I used to wear a bikini, lie on the beach and well, just soak up the rays not to mention some very interesting sexy bikini tan lines.

Its fun walking around in Hawaii dressed also because you can almost get away with anything from a mini in flip flops to a nice local style club dress with killer heels....now that's a vacation.
