While browsing the web, I came across the website for the Southern Comfort Conference.

To be honest, I had never heard of it before today even though Atlanta is only about 2.5 hours away. Is this something worth going to?

If any of you have ever been, what was your experience and for those who are married, did you take your wife and did she get any benefit from it?

Sadly, I have never been able to go ...
I have heard nothing but good reports, however.
Someday :daydreaming:

Yes, many, many, here have attended. I think it's one of the largest CD/TG conventions.

A lot of girls will say it is the best conference of the year and i agree. I would suggest attending if you can.

Yes. I have and it was a great confidence builder, though a lot of us TS girls tended to hang together...some pics in my album from the SCC...

Oh yeah, I think they have activities and socials for spouses too...

I have been the last two years myself. It is an amazing event not only will you learn a lot about the trans community but more importantly yourself. It was a great stepping stone for me. On top of all the the people are wonderful and supportive. You will come away with a lot of new friends. Unless you run into someone who gets jealous easily and calls you names on the elevator. Yes I am looking at you Kimberly. :D :heehee:

I highly recommend anyone to go.

scc is one of those things to do at least once! Kind of like going to the circus.
