View Full Version : Clothing Online Sales Retailers in Canada?

I have just experienced a very frustrating experience... I found this great sales shop called newport news. They had deals on some very cute pieces of clothing (even a sexy swimsuit for $7.99, can't beat that!)... So I browsed the site for 45 minutes, planning what I would buy, and they had lots of great deals. Only to realise that they didn't ship to Canada! The same has happened before, and it frustrates me every single time. I don't know what kind of incompetent marketing dummy setup this common policy, but sites that don't shop to Canada really annoy me.

Just yesterday, I was shopping on www.hanes.com, and found out they had some very nice panties, and very nice t-shirts in exactly the model I wanted for very cheap. I wanted to buy them, but again! No shipping to Canada! United states only!

So my question is to the Canadian girls out here: Do you know any good online sales clothing retailers that ship to Canada? I know about Victoria's Secret, but I'm looking for a place that sells generic clothing. Specifically, I would like to buy things like a comfortable plain black t-shirt with a small neck opening that I could wear in my daily life without suspicions (people wouldn't know that its a girl's t-shirt). I am not daring to go outside in full fledged girlie outfits, but I am looking to buy girl's clothes that resemble men's clothes at an affordable price.

Try Sears Canada Outlet site at:

I've picked up some wonderful stuff at great prices.

They have some great deals, but there is not alot of selection! About 200 pieces of clothing in total (for women).

HI,

I hate to ask the obvious, but any reason you dont' just go to a mall and shop? Many stores are very accomodating. I actually run a cd shopping service http://www.geocities.com/ka2consult/index.html and in the Toronto area most stores are very cool. Back when I started I literally did cold calling and if in the area just asked managers of stores if they would be okay if guys showed up in male mode (or en femme too) to buy clothing. I can't think of one store that was not okay with this.

That said, once I have taken people shopping you really then get an idea how accepting they are, and truly I still have not had one negative thing happen. If anything one store that had a very loose changing area (just flimsy curtins) did ask that my client go in when it was empty. But still that was just one store. Most were just glad to do business.

Sorry I can't help with online info. Have you tried google with keywords like "ladies clothingl canada" that might elimiate any who don't ship up here.

Hugs

I tried many combinations of keywords without success. The best I could find was sears.ca (not the outlet). However, their prices are on the expensive side for the most part. As for not going shopping, I'm quite a shy person.

If you're a larger gal Lane Bryant (http://lanebryant.charmingshoppes.com/homelb.asp) gives you the option to list prices in Canadian dollars, so it's a safe bet they ship there.

Kathy: What a fabulous idea :) . It does take courage to shop on your own, although I often shop with my wife but now and then I'd like to shop with someone else and your service sounds 'just the ticket', so when I'm next home in 'To' from the Middle East I know who to contact :)
