No boy clothes that is. This is the story of my first time out of the house dressed as Sara. I realize it's wayy to long for some people to read (not sure I'd read all of it myself :), but I typed it out so I could remember the details and fig'd I would share it for the sake of other girls who would like to go out themselves but haven't crossed that bridge just yet.
I had a meeting for work in a city a couple hours away. I did a little recon ahead of time and found a bar that does "female impersonator" shows a couple nights a week, including the night I would be staying over.
The day of the trip I was late getting on the road because I was trying to make sure I'd have everything I need to get dressed and go out :) I hadn't decided for sure if I was going to stay that night, because I would probably be out a little late and then have to make the trip back home in the AM.
My work day was busy and went by pretty fast, I still hadn't made a decision. I got a call that I needed to stay overnight and go to another meeting the next morning.. so I found a bookstore with free wifi, sat down to book a room and looked up the address for the bar again.
Still wasn't sure if I was going to go out, decided to try a little retail therapy while I was sittin' on the fence. Bought two skirts a dress and a couple of shirts. I really wanted to shop for shoes and jewelry but I feel like there's no denying who it's for in that case. at least when I'm shopping for clothes it's reasonable to think it's a gift :)
By the time I got to the hotel it was almost 9pm. There was a very cute Christina Ricci type behind the desk (helping someone else, not me)... now even though dressing is no longer strictly a sexual thing for me, seeing a cute girl that I want to try to pick up kinda puts a damper on dressing (even if that feeling is fleeting :)).
Still wasn't sure if I was going to just dress in the room and take some pictures (maybe venture out to the courtyard), or actually leave the parking lot.. Went down to the hotel restaurant and had some sashimi and a whiskey and coke. Got back to the room just before 10. Everything speeds up from there :)
I don't really know what prompted it.. I hadn't shaved my legs in at least a month because of the warmer weather. I decided if I was going to take some pictures I might as well do it right, even if that meant hiding my legs for another couple of weeks into the summer. But once I had that silky leg feeling, it was pretty much set in motion! I decided that if I was going to leave I had to be out the door by 11, however I looked. I finished my legs, worked on my makeup, picked out my clothes, put on forms. 11 came and went but all I really had to finish was my hair. I took a couple of "this is me before I go outside" pictures. I got my ID, phone and camera ready to go (I don't have a purse). I only took $20 as a way of preventing myself from staying out too late/drinking too much.
I had a first floor room that exited out to the courtyard. I peeked out the curtain first but walking out the door was surprisingly easy. I took a "this is me outside for the first time picture" I walked out to my car (there was a GG lady getting out of her minivan), I was prepared to be around gay people but not so much around (presumably) straight ones.
Anyway I survived out to the car, found it easy to drive with heels. Got a little turned around making the drive, but found the bar pretty quick, just a block off of the main downtown area but still on a pretty dark, sketchy street. Not a real inviting facade to the building. Could hear dance music playing, there was one old guy standing around outside by himself that creeped me out a little bit. I don't know for sure that I would have gone in. I felt way overdressed. I was wearing my (short-short) LBD, heels, had a cute white flower in my hair. If this wasn't a gay bar it'd be any other neighborhood dive bar. Now I like neighborhood dive bars, but no GG would EVER walk into a dive bar dressed like this. I saw a younger couple with a HOT girl or GURL walk in, and took that as my cue. I opened the car door and sort of stormed into the bar so I wouldn't stop and turn around. :)
The door guy (who wasn't at the door) didn't much care for that, but didn't question my ID. I've only been to two but I think there's a rule that if you're not KNOWN for having a PHD you wait at least 3 minutes before a barback acknowledges you. So I'm a cute petite girl and that means I wait at least 4. The bartender cards me again, even though it was about 4 feet from the entryway to the bar, it was wide open and I know he saw me walk in. Pretty sure he just wanted to check gender. Told me I looked good. I heard a GG ask her boyfriend if I was a girl or boy, he's checking me out and says, "drag, definitely." the part I loved was when she goes, "really?" LOL! He was like, yeah, definitely.. I didn't catch the rest but I thought it was awesome that she wasn't sure!
I kind of took the first seat that I could that was in view of the stage and sat down by myself. I did happen to sit down behind a group of hot younger girls which I enjoyed. I was a little disappointed with the entertainment. For all the effort that you would have to put in the "drag" look, why not try to look more femme? Anyway they also weren't doing any live entertainment, strictly lipsynching performances. Probably 6 performers, 2 of them were hot. Not complaining here, just stating the facts. I'm really not into the gay culture, so it was an experience just to look around the bar and see all the gay boys and wonder which of them might also like to dress up, which ones are probably in the closet, etc. I just tried to keep a feminine posture and drink my drink. I sat by myself for at least 30 minutes. The only person that talked to me that whole time was a lesbian in a leather jacket that asked if she could sit down next to me. I broke the ice with a guy and girl sitting on the other side of me. We shared some shots and some drinks but the pace of the conversation was pretty mild. The guy asked me if I perform. I told him I'd never even been out dressed before. There wasn't a lot of dancing going on, just watching the performances. One of my trips back up to the bar, the bar tender also asked me if I perform. He didn't believe my never been out before statement, told me that I really look great and that I sould think about it and to let them know if I change my mind. Being recruited felt really cool but I don't have the "it" attitude to perform! As the show wrapped up we did some dancing with the couple (found that dancing in heels also wasn't that bad), also danced with the lesbian which was awesome.. went up to the bar and there was a decent looking guy (although he looked like he had the "im' an asshole with money" attitude), sitting up there with his girlfriend chatting with the bartender. He's talking to me a little bit and puts his arm around me and says, "look [some name] I've got the two cutest girls next to me." the bartender says, "yeah you do, the two cutest girls in the bar." I took that as the cutest GG and cutest MtF (me), but like the song goes, "she was a he"!! So ****ing awesome! She was a real tranny, not just a CD tho. She asked me questions about if I want to have surgery, if I have a boyfriend.. when I explained that I like girls, she basically lost interest in talking to me (like I'm not a real TG then) and he was just floored.
Him: so you don't like guys?
Me: no, i like other gurls like me
Him: so you like to get dressed up and be with women?
Me: Yes
Him: looking more confused.. so what are you gonna do when a guy hits on you?
Me: I like compliments, I'm just not interested in sex
The TG girl and I talked a little bit more at this point, I explained that I'm part time, she asked something like, so you're a guy during the day and a gurl at night? Like she really didn't get that there was someone who could 'identify' as both, versus feeling as she does that she was meant to be female.
Anyway after some pause the guy had become very accepting and something along the lines of "whatever works for you", to which I replied, "oh it works very well :)))
After dancing we went outside to a patio area and chatted a bit. OH! I went with the GG to the bathroom, asked her which one I was supposed to go in, we went in the girls together! :) Honestly, I've been in the ladies room before. of course, i've never been dressed as a girl in the ladies room, where it was also *my* room :)
and there were definitely some cute girls making out in there when we went in. They kind of smiled and left, I was like, WAIT! DAMMIT! YOU DONT HAVE TO GO! The couple I had been talking to was friends with one of the performers. She had actually won a "Miss TG" type award last year. Once we were introduced she asked me if I was "working" and if I wanted to perform. She started fixing my wig, put my flower on the other side of my head (she gave me a reason why), and then asked if I wanted help with my makeup (I did NOT take offense to this, hers was frickin amazing).
Not surprisingly a lot of the rest of the conversation going on around us was focused on sex. One guy was talking about being bi but not having found the right person yet, .
We were being ushered off the patio and back inside, it was almost 3 and I decided to head back to my room. I did the "ya'know" (stole that from a thread on here) and passed out in my dress with my forms still on. I sleep side, stomach and back, didn't have any problems, but I don't weigh much. I love to pass out, and this was a great night for a great pass out! :P
It was a good first night out. I wish it would've included a threesome with a couple of the hot girls there, but baby steps, yaknow?
as soon as I find my USB cable I'll put a picture on here..
