I am glad to see a positive spin put on being transsexual in a well read magazine. It gives us all hope that as society becomes more informed and less biased and predigest, we will be more openly accepted. Perhaps not in my lifetime but if we stay course on current trends we may get there.

I know some of the background of this article. She wanted no pictures from between being a child and recently, to avoid the usual cliched "wow look what they went from!" crap. I'm very glad the editors agreed to her demands.

I'm also glad they agreed, but I really want to see before and after :( I never considered going through with anything beyond dressing in private, but if i could see before and after and see if she "washed" the masculinity away, I'd try it.
