Interestingly, I just read Kim's post about looking in the mirror and seeing a girl. I just came back from a round of errands where I overheard a "compliment" from a young lady of about 5 years old. I walked by and she said "Mommy, he looks like a girl."

I certainly liked the "looks like a girl" but did she have to say "he"?

oh well, another day in CD land.

You got to watch out for the young girls. They have a built-in X-Ray
that can see through almost anything. You just can not fool a 6 to 14
year old, no matter what you try to do. :heehee: Rader

At least others see you as a girl. enjoy it. I, sadly, am the only one who sees me as a girl.

If you always look at the positive and ignore the negative, you will be a happier person. Forget the "he". Remember and dwell on the "looks like a girl"!

At least you still look like a girl. Could have been much worse.

In the past few years since my wife passed away, I have been out and about dressed enfemme many times. And I have had numerous compliments, including a few as in the opening of this thread. Yes, I would be called "He," because I wear no wig or makeup! I am a male, and definitely look it! Even if I am wearing a skirt or dress and other feminine garments.

But I don't mind at all! I know that I am a CD, and I dress to please myself, not someone else!! Please just be sure to call me for dinner!!:heehee:

I wonder what would be worse:

“He looks like a girl” or “She looks like a man”?

Years ago I was out and went to Penneys. Everything seemed to
go well, got out of my car, walked into the store, (a man held the
door for me) went and started looking at some womens clothes
and who came along, a young little girl giggling and laughing at me.
It was not funny at the time; (rotten little girl, grrrrrrr) but later on,
I will admit that it was a little funny, just a little. :heehee:

Yes, it seems that the young girls can spot a CDer quicker than anyone.

out of the mouth of babes. Kids are extremely honest and will blurt out just about anything. I don't know if it is a compliment since she didn't comment on how good you looked as a girl.:D
