my wife came home from work yesterday and out of the blue wrote a poem for me and it made me cry heres what she wrote
God's Special Blessing
When God created me He knew I would need a special helpmate. One whocould be strong, weak, understanding, controlling, giving, selfi sh,masculineand feminine. He would need to be a unique individual. Both a girlfriend and a boyfriend, a father and a brother, a sister and a secretekeeper. A best friend,a lover and a safe place to run to in times of fear But Most Importantly A Husband Like No Other.

for those of you who have wives that are not accepting of your cding just be patient it took 10 yrs for her to fully accept the fact that it doesn;t matter what im wearing I'm still her husband

Thank you for that encouragement. I'm sitting here with wearing my new red bra with my wife out at the library. I wish I could share with her how wonderful it feels to have the feeling of a bra on, but that's just not possible right now. Thanks for your post.

I have had that before in my life, once long ago. A short span recently. To find even a temporary partner who is accepting is hard enough. Congrats on the LTR.

Hi Carrie
Thank you for sharing your poem , you are very lucky to have such a understanding wife and I'm glad that she sees that you are the same person no matter what clothes you are wearing.
My girlfriend is also accepting of this part of me and I consider myself very lucky to share my life with her too.

What a brilliant thing to do and I take heart that it took so long for her to accept your dressing, mine is still very much in the won't talk about it phase, doesn't understand it, but doesn't want me to try and explain it either, so I don't push it

If you don't do something tremendous for that woman today, this instant, you are a cad!

You have an amazing wife. Make sure she knows it! :)

Your wife sounds fantastic. I have no doubt that she understands how much you appreciate her, and will continue to do so.

It's the same for me. I've read many negative accounts here of wives who can't get their heads around the idea of their transgendered husbands. I do wish they could somehow realize just how much they would gain from giving just the slightest encouraging word. Maybe this wonderful poem will help!

That's very touching, Carrie! It's wonderful that your wife wrote you that poem. I can't remember the last time I got something so meaningful like that. Last thing I got from my ex was a small baby blanket/stuffed plushie that was shaped like a cow ^^;;

Carrie, Thank you for sharing this poem from your wife. Some of us are blessed to have supporting, loving wives or SO's. It says a lot about how a GG can and will love us in both our fem and male modes. I am blessed to have such a love in my life.

Maybe your posting this will help another CD get the courage to open up to his wife and enrich both their lives.
My compliments to you and especially to your wife.

That is really beautiful! I just printed it off for my spouse. Thank you for sharing!

Please give your wife a hug from all of us! And tell her how truly special she really is!

Proverbs 31:10 - Who can find a woman of worth? for her price is far above rubies.

Perfect! Some translate it as "A woman of valor"

Eshet chayil mi yimtza v'rachok mip'ninim michrah
An accomplished woman, who can find? Her value is far beyond pearls.

Batach bah lev ba'lah v'shalal lo yechsar
Her husband's heart relies on her and he shall lack no fortune.

G'malathu tov v'lo ra kol y'mei chayeiha
She does him good and not evil, all the days of her life.
