First, a mutation in at least one of my genes has caused an area of my brain to be physiologically and anatomically female. This are is responsible for the gender orientation, thus I am a female. The mutation of my gene could have happen before I was conceived (my great grand parent was a MTF), or in uterus. The point is that this structure was present on me at birth; logic would dictate that then I am a female at birth!!!

Second, I have a gene(s) that have made certain part of my anatomy (not only my brain) female, that makes me a Genetic Girl, or genuine girl, as I did not thinker with my genes,

Remember when there clubs that excluded African Americans, women, Jews, Latinos. I recently saw this club, curves, only for woman. Now, I just notice that in this forum there are also the “unique clubs.” Every time I see a club where I am not welcome because “I do not qualify,” makes me remember the painful feelings of being discriminate. I have been discriminated all my life either because the color of my skin, or my gender, or my expressed gender, or my religion, or my accent.

Firstly I am sorry you feel excluded but that is the way it is or else every GM would be in the GG section ............ secondly there are areas here that you can apply to join that other members of the forum can't GG's included ........ the section you are talking about is for FAB's (Females At Birth) ........ unfortunately by a quirk of fate you were "labeled" Male At Birth & as such are ineligible to join FAB .......... there are clubs as a GG I cannot enter, as a White Brit I cannot enter etc etc , no point in eating myself up about those clubs I can't join, just make the most of those I am interested in and can join if I want.

Very well said Sheila. Gee, I'd love to be a fly on the wall in the FAB forums, just as I'm sure some GG's would like to be in the GM only forum. But the reasons are very understandable as to why there should be limits on who can join where and what. I don't feel discriminated for it at all. I accept that I am not allowed in certain places. I am also wise enough to understand why.
It would be so simple for every crossdresser to make a claim to being a woman inside and therefore be allowed entry into the club. That would ruin it for GGs that need a place to share without the interruption, confusion or a male minded viewpoint.

By that logic half the members on the forum would be legable for entry for such a club, thus negating a need for the club in the first place.

You have more than 10 posts, I imagine you could join the MtF safe haven TS women group.

Does that mean if you walked past me, you'd be a passing FAD?

Can I not be part of this club? I don't like clubs, they smell like tequila, cocoa butter, and cigarettes.

That reminds me of a time after graduation when I went to Tijuana. I still smell brimstone and get scared of Tequila sometimes.

If you really want to spend some wasted time reading... Look into the correlation between transgenderism and above average intelligence.

FYI - intelligence is a mutation

Clubs do server a function, some times for good, such as the FAB forum here which have been of tremendous value to spouses of crossdressers who need a safe place to find comfort and information when dealing with something such as a crosdressing spouse when little comprehensive information is available.

Are goups ment to be harmful ? Not really, even your friends list , is a group of people whem you decide will be a part of YOUR slect group.

I have belonged to a number of groups over the years, that support people with Depression. I have found the ones that limit membership to people who actually have depression to be the most beneficial to me.

ask yourself first why a group limits it's membership and why you feel a need to have access. sometimes it's not as important as we think .

Now, I just notice that in this forum there are also the “unique clubs.”

This forum's FAB group isn't here to have a select club for GGs only, but to help these GGs learn and come to terms with their partners' gender variance. You have nothing in common with this group because unlike them, the concept of gender variance is familiar to you, and you are not having any difficulties understanding your MtF TG partner.

I do belong to a local women's only spiritual group. We meet on Thursday nights. A CDer expressed interest in attending some years back, in femme mode. It was put to a vote, and the ladies of the group welcomed her. We all had the same interest which was to grow in our understanding of spiritual matters.

The next time you encounter a GG only group that seeks to grow in their understanding of something that also interests you, I suggest you simply ask them if you can join. I'm sure you'd be welcomed!

The only reason I would ever want to join the FAB club, would be if I had an SO that I truly loved but turned out later to be TG, then I wanted advise from the GG's past experience on how to cope & make the relationship work, if that was what I wanted or if it was even possible, ....but hope I'm wiser than that for someone to get past my TG radar considering my background in the 1st place..

Either way, I don't need to worry about it because that's not the case since I don't have those issues to deal with ....the support offered there are for GG's to offer other GG's having a hard time dealing with issues with & their TG SO's, and with themselves because of the SO...
So even though I may consider myself a woman mentally, emotionally & spiritually through & through just the same as any GG, I have no business even asking to join the FAB club, since I have absolutely no legitimate reason to be there at the moment, and hopefully I never will..

So please let them be....they have enough to deal with as it is..
There's other clubs you can particpate in....

Hi.

For what its worth ,
& in my case im on another foum & we have another group with in the main groups .
For my self i fall out side of being a male or female yet im both. meaning im a mix of both. androgynous. i never related to men & was not quite accepted by women . so where did that leave me , a loner . for many years. try 50 .
Then i came out as a full on woman 12 years ago . the change has been just so great. so i do know what your saying & yes its hard , & the funny or strange thing is im getting accepted from men & thats in a nice way.
So for this kid i cant claim being a dresser , trans sexual , t v . just a woman with a male back ground . & thats the acceptance iv had & get from many people ,
as to clubs i dont see a problem . & there does need to be a space between men & women just so we can talk about our own issues or in my case womens matters. that i wont talk with men about. any way hope this helps.

I think that this is a real stretch that won't work, plus I really don't see a point to this...thread closed.
