Sophie's first trip out properly, what do you think? [pics]

Hey girls!

So, I finally got up the courage to get my outfit together and get a lovely H&M dress, borrow some shoes, do my legs, and have my makeup done, and walk through the busiest bit of my university (AND up a huge stone flight of stairs, in shoes with ZERO traction), I was with a posse of about 6-8 girls too, so it was okay, but I was terrified!

What do you girls think about my look? I only have a few pics, taken after the fact, in a friend's room, let me know!

OOH, and as I walked there, I walked past crowds of GG's, a lecturer, and 4 people looked me in the eye, and didn't give me a second look!

I think that when you go out and pass, what you realise is that people just dont care as much a you think. Everyone is in their own world and unless it is obvious that it's a man in a dress then they won't question it at all. Especially in 2010. People are more accepting and disinterested in your sex then ever b4.

Hmm. Am I the ONLY one who thinks the dress is too short? It is. Yes, it's cute. No question about that. But I still think it's designed to attract attention, and attention is not what you need as you venture out for the first time.

Of course, you may be only 17. You did mention a university. If you are that young, then maybe the dress is OK. I do see quite short skirts on young children these days.
