Yesterday, I offended several of you with one of my statements in the Thread titled, "Do You See A Therapist at Present?"

I stated among other things, "First off, you are discounting that some folks are of sound (meaning strong) mind and body albeit changing to better fit their gender. "

Members immediately called me on my statement as implying that someone who sees a therapist is NOT of sound mind and body.

Instead of trying to explain my poor word choices, I just want to say to each of you that I AM SORRY and I do APOLOGIZE!

I will try to think before I type in the future.

You never need to apologize. You are saying what you believe and said it well.

I have said what I think and won't rehash it so just know at least for me you never have to apologize :D

I have to concur with Viktoriya in saying no apology necessary. I do see a therapist and in fact I did yesterday with my daughters. My therapist is the head of the gender clinic here at the University of Minnesota and when my daughters needed a professional opinion Walter was there for me. He has helped me immensely and I think he did the same for my daughters yesterday. I keep thinking if it wasn't for him or someone like him I would be residing next to my late wife.

DANG! I missed an opportunity to be offended. I need to pay attention more. ;)

I can't be offended. One who gets offended relinquishes power to the one who offends. No apologies needed here.

I only see a therapist for the letters needed for transition. But since I am paying her, I might as well use her. :D
