Neighbors, well due to being rather penned in at home, frustrated at not being able to just walk to the car without fear of being ohhh found out,i told them and by now the whole street should know  it had to be said,i need to be free to go about my day as me,its still early in my transition and i am glad its out at last, but also a little worried, but still its done, another obstruction out of the way.

The neighbors, well they seemed ok,but in my experience with people you tell them then they pick there jaws off the floor, they seem ok with you, then about a week later when they have had time to think, some will not be so ok with you.
So i think give it a month,if i have had no hassle in that time i may be ok,fingers crossed.Katie xx

Congratulations Katie, you must be relieved to have been able to get telling them out of the way, glad it went well for you & I hope it stays that way :)

I agree with Congrats are in order! But isn't it a shame we even have to tell our neighbors anything?

Thanks,Sheila/Traci,

""shame we even have to tell our neighbors anything?" op,T e

It should be none of there dam buesines who you are,and having to crawl to people for a atom of exceptance infurates the hell out of me,but there you go thats just the way it is at the moment for me anyway.

In a way i would rather tell them myself because then i have made a massive contrubution to the journey ahead,so at least i can say i outed myself.

I know there are a lot of trans folk who want to but cannot live as they wish,i do feel for you and in making these posts i in no way intend to hurt your feelings :hugs:,life is not fun and rosey its hell taking this route to be honest. katie xx
