My weekend adventure!!

Hi all- pretty new to these forums...hope you enjoy..

Thurs aft...went to see makeover specialist in LI NY (femme fever- Karen is very wonderful!!) got a 3 hr photo/makeover... I was staying at residence inn in cherry hill nj..put on a nice blouse jeans and black hi-heel boots and drove back to cherry hill- loved it..

got back to room and picked a jeans skirt and different blouse and went to another hotel..hilton in cherry hill...this place was walked thru lobby..went to back ballroom and into ladies...2 girls there makeing up...went right to stall...tried to breathe.. they were buddies and were talking about what else one guy they both liked!!! they left , bathroom was huge, and smelled soooo nice...anyway, touched up lipstick back to hotel...this time got more dressy with a red rouched dress and black hose and heels...went out this time to a sheraton..this sheraton has a ballroom entrance in the back, and a huge area with a giant mirror...no one around at the time, and walked in...there was a huge party in one ballroom , which i looked into it was very darkk...i didnt go in, now i wish i did!! but then about 4 guys started walking to me so i just kindof waltzed back out to my car...they followed me all the way out and i could watch in this huge mirror.. the best part was they really didnt pay much attention to me at all..no gawking no hey look at that guy...just me (a girl in a nice dress) and i felt i belonged...back to the car!!!..

I stayed up till about 3...trying on outfits and going out...it was really really scary but exhilarating..took off makeup and corset, etc put on my purple jammies and went to bed

i dont want to bore you all. this was so exciting for me and feel like telling the whole story..i was out all day(first time ever in daylight!!!!) on friday as well

Well if you insist!!!!

On friday got up int the morning, put on my best business suit, skirt and black low heels very professional...got out my tote bag (it even had a little tag on it "WIB" women in business.. purse shades and spent the day in full daylight which i never ever did!!..went to fave place (sheraton) and when i walked in there were five guys behind the door sitting playing cards..i just kept walking thru and they just looked up and smiled!!!!!!.. i really was in heaven then...did my usual walkaround but waited in the ladies for about 10 minutes, and finally came back, guys were still there...just walked out to car and went home..

next step, i got a light blue workout suit and tee and cap from ladies foot locker..and some nice ladies running shoes,,, put hair in ponytail, put on the cap and did one of my all time fantasies, went for a fast walk....i felt very feminine and safe, just walked out of my room and walked about a half mile on the side of a well-traveled road...i've seen girls jogging/walking and always thought they were so cute and always wanted to do it so i did!!! of course then i had to totally wash up and rest hehe!!!

Sounds like you had a blast! Is it my imagination, or are lots of girls having fun, going out, and posting stories and pictures about it lately? This is fantastic! I know for myself that it can be a little bit scary at times but also extremely rewarding and a hell of a lot of fun too!

its 4 days later and i'm still coming down from it....

i've gotten some private posts too that were very nice..

trust me on this...i'm 6'2 ALL MAN and i saw alot of people and didnt have one prob..
i didnt push it and didnt hang around people..one cute thing did happen

at the hilton one outfit i wore was a jean skirt, and that white blouse and some flats, very casual...i walked in about the same time as a very pretty girl and i let her get in front of me..after a minute and took out my cell phone and "talked" while sitting on the couch of lobby...get up to leave, she is 5 feet from me...i got nervous and walked really fast to car...what was funny was she literally followed me and got right in front of me and then just smiled and waved...SO I WAS CAUGHT BIG TIME but she just thought it was fun...

oh well, enough from me ...and being new here its very comforting to touch base with you all!!

Sounds like a great time. Femme fever was the first place I found on the net for makeovers. I considered the drive, even though it's about 1-1/2 hours for me, but then I found one in Philly and went there instead. Being with a CD makeover expert certainly does feel great doesn't it? Nice to be fussed over!

It was actually Katiewannabe's shop in northeast Philly. She's off of route 1 just south of the turnpike. The best part was that she allows shopping by appointment only, so it was just her and I there.

She was fabulous, but a little pricey. Worth it in my opinion though. I bought my wig, some foam forms and she did my make up, giving me tips as she worked. All in all a fun day it was.
