View Full Version : Got my APPOINTMENT letter today

I haven't wanted to say anything up to this point. Still feels like a dream I'm about to wake up from.

In the mail today was my letter for an appointment with an Endrcrinologist at the end of this month.

I've been seeing a therapist for quite awhile and have spoken to my Primary Care Dr. and both of them have written letters to the Endo who has said he'll see me.

Soon enough, friends, soon enough.

one really cool thing is how you know you are feeling things that other women share, and yes some of it is a bit painful

i always try to look at the bright side, and not everybody gets to feel like they are 14 again

Thank you everyone.
Had a small taste of the fun awaiting me. About two weeks ago, a friend invited me to a Lia Sophia jewelry party. Attended today along with about 7 or 8 other ladies. No questions or second glances from anybody.
One of the women dragged her husband along and he promptly went off with the husband of the hostess, to look at a tractor or something. One of the guests commented that maybe he should stay and find something for himself. His reply was something to the effect about it being a waste of good money. Her answer was along the lines of, "you're just a man and don't understand"
Really had to work at surpressing my grin.

Yeah, I think this is gonna be fun.

I was quite surprised at myself for being so comfortable in that setting.
