I consider myself a closet CD but more and more people are in the know lately. I am getting ready for a vow renewal with my wife and i'll be the bride. This week alone two more people know I am a CD. My GG bridesmaid is bringing a guest to Vegas with her and I told her he can come to the wedding if he wants too. Then yesterday I met with my wedding dress maker and her mom was at the shop helping her sew some of her other dresses. Her mom sat right there while we discussed my dress preferences and color choices and problems finding shoes in my size. In July I am taking burlesque lessons with my wife, her birthday gift to me, and I'll be wearing heels in the class with about 10 other people. It seems to be getting easier with each new person who knows.

That's an interesting point Mirani... I have been closeted in the past but I'm working to be more open with this wedding. I'm still closeted in the sense that I am not out to my close friends and family. Only my wife and bridesmaid know. It's so much easier with new people. They don't have a predefined notion of who you are.
