Then today it was hot again and i was in barefeet . i had to take a picture of something on the floor , and my toes where in the side of the photo. he saw the photo and said . you better paint your nails or at least put clear varnish on them .

So I've been out sunning in my full bikini these past few weeks and thoroughly loving it (plus the most excellent tan lines!). Before the first day of a new class yesterday I made some casual comment to the teacher that "I could be on the beach right now." the teacher and I and a classmate made a few more comments relating our class material to a beach metaphor when the classmate stepped out of the metaphor and directly asked if I had a bikini. Uh... !!!!??
I was flummoxed and couldn't say a word! I so wanted to just say something casual like, "Oh yeah, it's in the car and I'm ready to go" and just continue the conversation, but I couldn't say a thing.
It's hard to imagine any way he might have picked up on my bikini tanning. I haven't even made any tangential comments around him, but there it was.
Pernille, your coworker at least heard you make a sort of "iffy" comment the day before, so maybe yes his CD radar got triggered. Then maybe his comment about your toes was more of a probe or test comment to see how you responded. Thing is, most guys are completely oblivious to these possible signals. If fact, the only guys I've found who have any sort of CD radar are guys who have CD'ed themselves. You might want to do some probing back yourself. Heck, you two may have more in common that you expect!

I come from the camp that we create these situations where we think someone is on to us. How many people really are going to easily think "he asked if she was hot in pantyhose, he must be a CD". I just don't see it as a common line of thought people will have.

Neither do I. Many women complain of pantyhose being hot on summer days. In fact, many hosiery manufacturers intentionally make pantyhose that are intended to be cooler on hot days. It's common knowledge.
>10 years ago, a co-worker of mine and I were on a business trip together. Whilst waiting in an airport, she complained her pantyhose were hot, what with all the layering "down there". I suggested she try thigh highs. She didn't bat an eye. Interestingly, some years later when she and I no longer worked together, she told me that she tried it, and stopped wearing pantyhose altogether. She only wears thigh highs now. She never suspected, and still doesn't (we're still friends, and she has no need to know so I don't tell her).

Really? He gave you two options?
Sounds like he knows a thing or two about keeping nails nice. Wonder why? ;)

In what seems like a past life many years ago, I had to work in a slaughter house as an inspector, during the winter months everybody would wear tights under theri jeans and overalls just to try and keep warm.

He most likely hasn't a clue. Just use your humor.
