Some where I read that you can be on hormones for a certain lenght of time, I thought it was 6 months. And then be able to stop them, without major problems. But I can't find the site. I'm not interested in body modification, I already have breasts. I really interested in seeing if it makes me more at peace with myself. Because now my mind feels like it's at war with itself. I've already discussed this with that whizzbang councilor about this. He said if I can show him, he will concider it. I did call the help line from Transgendered Michigan, and the nice lady told me I should stick with this guy for a few more sessions, maybe 5 or 6, just to see if he will write the letter. As long as it was covered by insurance. She also said she might be able to help me convince him. I tried every bookmark on the computer that even sounds like it might have something to do with trans issues. Thanks in advance..:hugs:.Billijo

I'm trying to do a Google search for you, but unfortunately I'm only finding sites that say that any changes on MtF HRT is permanent. What sorts of "major problems" are you referring to? :)

Thanks to both of you. I think the site that was posted will work. I'll have to wait till after my surgery on my carotid artery. But I can still keep reading and seeing the councilor. Thanks again...:hugs:...BJ
