well i went to an appt for hair removal fully dressed and without even telling them first i just showed up,

my wife and kids are away for the week and i work third shift so my dressingtime is very limited, i figured i have time now and if i get ready before i go to bed maybe ill have enough courage to actually go out in daylight and actually interact with someone so heres how it went, by the time i got fully dressed makup and all its 2 my appt is at 3, i changed 3 times including my wig and finaly settled on an outfit, now its 230 thought about chicking out but was past the point of no return, so i go out carfully looking to see if any neighbors are lurking, non wha hoo im in the clear , i arive at the laser center no one in the parking lot or first hall thats good, then my heart fell, i heard a door close as im going up the stairs and then i see her a lady headed for the womens bathroom and she seen me and says hi, i just smile and hurry into the mens room thank god no one was in there, i did a once over felt pretty good and got out of there and went into the laser center, said i was there for my appt to the tech, wich i always see and never told her i dress or anything she didnt look supprised at all, i didnt talk like a women either,
then the lady i saw in the hall came in smiled and went behind the desk and asked if i was here for my appt i told her who i was and asked if it was ok to have come dressed without calling ahead, she said heck yes it, then she comented on how good i was dressed and i said its taken alot of practice, then she said shes really suprized at how good i look so i was in heaven, got done with the tech who didnt treat me any different than normal, was leaving and thought i would stop and put on my lips and do anouther once over, headed for the womens but thought i heard someone in there so i went into the mens when a guy came out and said, HEY wrong one, i sayed oops quitly and hurried into the womens room where noone was and did some tuching up and admired my looks for a few then came home with a new found confidence, next is to go shoping and trying newthings on while dressed. <sorry this was so long but im just soo excited still>

Feels good, don't it? And you look fantastic!

It's those unexpected encounters (like the guy in the hall) that fluster me. I had a guy come up to me in a Las Vegas casino and ask me the time. I almost shook myself apart. But I was fine asking the waitress for a drink. My next time out will be a real test (http://YouCanCallMeMeg.blogspot.com).

Good for you! Getting out and about, interacting with the public can be a bit of a challenge, but you did it well! Continue to build your confidence and always be comfortable with who you are. IMO, the more you go out the more you will want to go out! Thanx for sharing your adventure.

Good for you . You did not say where the hair was being removed from. I'm guessing your face. What did they do with your foundation?

When your out you should always use the ladies room. When I go to the movies I after the movie I need to pee so I go to the ladies room and yesterday it was the busiest it's ever been. I got there and all the stalls were full and had to wait out in the sink area. There were little kids and tow little boys waiting for Mommy Lol. No one except the little boy even looked at me hard. The boy might have been looking at my sliver hair.

I would not if I were you about people seeing you , you look great and I think no one would know your a CD. have fun and shop....

You should've said "this is what happens to little boys who use the ladies' room" He either would scream and yell next time, or rush in every chance he got. :)

i had my no foundation on cause i just shaved and there was little to no shadow and with this being my fifth time alot of the hair is gone now so i figured with my tannish looking face it would be fine, i only had my eyes made up and then after i was done i put on lipstick,

thanks ladies i have a new found confidence in my self and will feel pretty good about it for a while to come

Well done Danielle, that took a lot of courage, but now you've done it once, it'll start getting easier with every next time - and I can promise you there will be lots of next times, because going out dressed is addictive :o

You obviously come across well, and the confidence will make up for any little things that might worry you.

BTW, don't apologise for the length of the post, it was just right.

Good for you Danielle. Looks like we have another one of us finding her wings. A warning though......getting out and about is wickedly addictive, once out it's real tough to stay in.

Good luck and stay safe.

Tash :)
