View Full Version : Red Outfit To Debut Labor Day Weekend

It's been a while since I've been psyched about getting all dolled up. Lately I've had to find something to motivate myself just to wear casual clothes. The thought of dressing to the nines didn't even enter my mind. Until now!

I've always loved halters and I've always loved handkerchief hems and I have been told many times I look best in red. So by next weekend I should receive everything I ordered. I don't care if I'm overdressed, I WILL wear this, unless something doesn't fit or, heaven forbid, the dress looks like crap!

This was the best I could do to satisfy taste, comfort and style. The red platforms were a toughie and I'm still not sure about the silver studs but I just couldn't find the perfect heels. I'm hoping the purse and jewelry offset the studs on the shoes.

Regardless, I can't wait! I'm going to pray to the CD gods that it all works out well. :Pray:

Looks good to me, those shoes have the same stud thing going as the ones I looked at too(diff heels) Kind of a draw back, but I think they'll work:) And of course we want pictures of you WEARING THEM :D

MUST have those shoes!! And I thought I was gonna get out of this weekend without spending money. Time to go shoe shopping!

All of those pieces are lovely and would love to be able to wear that dress, but my larger size would not work well with that.

Love the shoes, as mentioned a very sheer white/cream/tan/or even light black hosiery would really polish that off!

You have fabulous taste, Julie. I wish I could be alone with your shoe collection for an hour. :) And as long as I'm wishing, I wish I could wear halters...but alas, I don't have the body for it. Enjoy your new outfit and yes, post pictures!

Very nice outfit Julie! I think I would go with black stockings though... just my .02 worth however. Whatever you choose, I know you'll look great in that red dress. Yes, please post some pics too. Later, Olivia
