Safe club/bar in MA/RI to go dressed?

Hi all,

First off, great site!

Second, came out about dressing to a straight female friend. I told her how I wanted to go out dressed to a club/bar. She was all up for that. Now first off, while I love the clothing, I'm not much for the wig makeup part of it. So I'll probably go just dressed. I'm looking for a safe and accepting place to go in MA or RI this sat night. Any tips would be great!

well my cd frends and i go to all manner of clubs,and bars,but with wigs,and makeup.i think you can do that if presenting the full picture,but going half way will definently restrict you to gay/lesbian bars.i dont know ive never done the skirt/heels thing in public while still presenting as a guy.what the hell try and see what comes of it.why not try any club/bar and see peoples reactions.you will problably get some strange looks but that.

I only really know of some gay bars in the area who are accepting of us.

Thanks for the suggestions. I do know of a few other gay bars, just looking for some recomandations for CD friendly ones.

I was hoping to go without the wig/makeup as I dont have a wig. My friend I'm sure would do the makeup.

I'd like to go just dressed, but I suppose in addition to fitting in, it would be a nice disguise.
