View Full Version : Truth of the matter is?
If I had a choice?
I wouldn't be a cross dresser, nor transgendered?
But I am.
Trying to understand and explain such ( and still working on it) is one Hell of a Mother-Trucker!
I'm here to tell you!
Trying to accept one as such? Well that's another story altogether!
Denial?
That doesn't work?
Marriage to a GG? Nada!

The only way to really "beat" crossdressing is to make it a choice rather than continue allowing it to be a compulsion. To do that takes serious effort to gain insight on the feelings that drive the need.:)

Would any body be who they are? BUT, we are who we are.

Can you be a CD and be married? I think so and there are members here who are and are happy. Transgendered leaning towards transitioning is possibly a whole different story.
Everybody needs to do what feels right for them and as our resident guru Denise says is to really dig and find what is your path in life. I do wish you find what makes you happy. It really is not easy, nor always fun, but it is who we are.

Is somebody holding a gun to your head and forcing you to crossdress? I sincerely doubt that! So why do you crossdress? Simply because "YOU" want to!!
And since it is "You" forcing the issue, "YOU" can stop if you really want to!! Or you can go with the flow, and wear the pretty things like the rest of us!! It is a lot of fun to do so!!
BTW, I was married for almost 50 years to a dear lady who knew I was a CD when we married. She accepted and supported my CD activities up to the day she passed away.

I can't think what I'd be like if this wasn't part of me.

Good luck sorting your feelings and actions out. You might benefit from some professional counseling.

I'm married to a GG. We share our intimate secrets, lingerie, tops and make up....it can be done! But you do need to reach some level of self acceptance. Whether one is CD or not, its possible to have a destructive self image, and as a wiser person than I has said, "you must learn to love yourself before you can learn to love others". Its very true.
