I just revealed my inner secrets to my sis as many of you know and I just realized how much I was holding in. 2 days ago I have written an email to surgeon in California whom I know to be the best of the best in FFS and asked if he will still perform surgeries in the near future because I have heard that he might be retiring soon. I just got the email back with assurance of him going on with the practice...... (deep breath) yey!!!
I also written back to him to schedule a consultation to asses what needs to be done. I AM GOING WITH THIS THING!!!! OMG, It feels so empowering.

I understand, and I am truly thankful, but a trip to visit his office and get consultation isn't exactly a commitment. Besides if you have heard of him you would understand he is a wholesome being helping transgender community for decades. He will not perform a surgery if it is not necessary. My father is a surgeon so I look at this from a somewhat different perspective, please believe me when I say: there are wholesome people around us just not too many.

The doctor you are talking about does do great work. Theres only one hitch that is a sort of a joke within the trans community about him. You see if you put several of his patients toghether they have a great tendency to look like sisters. LOL

There are also other doctors out there doing good work so do your homework. FFS is by far the one thing that if a girl is going to be picky about a doctor that is the one I would be pickey about.

And yes I had FFS last year.

baby, I admit my motives are of vanity. I am trying so hard to look beyond skin deep but for some reason I know that if I don't do it it will haunt me for the rest of my life. You are beautiful and thanks for all your love and support. If I had any more money I would treat everyone here with FSS or lypo or ice cream but for now I want this more than life it self. At one point in my life I was near turning the switch off. The only fact kept me from doing it was my sisters love, little I known she would save me at the end anyway. Here I go again, I didn't think I have many more tears left.
I will be brave, and I know what is to be expected, so it is not like I am new at this. I will keep you informed of what is going on and where I am heading and please, speak your mind for it is how I have confessed to my sis week ago, without your support would not happen.
As to looking like sisters after FFS I will be proud to resemble you girls and be a sister of yours.

i've met a bunch of ffs doctors...of course they want your money, but the top ones are gifted in creating more feminine features that will serve you well...just make sure you can afford it..and make sure you are prepared for so,me serious ouchies...

I would suggest that you also arrange a consultation with another plastic surgeon who does not specialize in FFS. Tell him (or her) what you want and why. Trust me, they have heard it all. They will do some digital imaging to show some possible results, it will cost about $150, and you will have the added benefit of having a second opinion. We really are our own worst critics and we sometimes need other people to help us along the way.

Yes Traci, it all comes down to some type of external expression, I suppose I haven't been entirely honest about my appearance because it haunts me to even think about it. Truth is no one will ever call me maam as I am now. My profile screams dude and proportions however soft are still projecting man not a woman.

awwwww Monica, I am melancholic at times, well, lots of times, but I believe it is so because I do not feel whole yet and one of the steps to achieve that is dreaded procedure. I am aware of vanity of it and yet it is stronger than I can withstand and believe me when I say: I just want everyone who comes my way to know without a question who I am like within.

Thank you girls for all your love it truly is a force of life, without it, all that has happened lately would simply remain my deepest wishes and hopes but I am living this dream and march on.
