If something needs fixing and you know how it is unfeminine to not do it.

If something needs fixing, I fix it. I would never give it a thought as to whether or not it is unfeminine. Frankly, neither would a GG give it a thought. she'd just fix it.
You make it sound lie it's unmasculine to do the laundry, FIX dinner, or FIX a flower arrangement.
I don't see a connection with fixing anything and being feminine or not.

There is an old saying. "I've said it before and I'll say it again, one handy woman is worth ten handy men."..:tongueout...BJ

If something has to be done and I am capable od doing it, I just do it and not worry about it.
Does faucet washer actually have a gender?

No Karen, the washer doesn't, but the parts it goes in-between does.
The aerator might have male or female threads, as will the spout it goes either in or around.

I hired many females as Carpenters, It was not sex as, and they did a
better job than the men at certain things. So if it broke, Fix It. Rader

Well I'm sat here in male mode, just finished ironing my laundry, and sewing on a couple of buttons, But I don't believe there is such a thing as manly/womanly jobs any more. I know a number of female motor mechanics, and in a former job even employed female drivers of refuse collection wagons. But when my late wife was still around, there was one job that was most definitely hers and hers alone.............getting rid of spiders from the bathroom, gawd how I hate spiders!

There is less of a chance for plumber's crack when wearing a skirt.

If something needs fixed I’ll be sure to wear an old denim skirt and T-shirt for the job rather than a nice pretty dress and stockings.
