Its official, Victoria Anne is now my legal name !:GD: It feels so wonderful . A good friend of mine "my lady Marsea" helped me alot with the paperwork and court , it was great to share the experience with her. I am just so excited about it , it has been a long time in the planning and its finally done , I feel I now have license to move forward toward my RLE at least outside of work anyway but even at that I do blur the gender lines at work and it is a step forward in my transition .

I am changing it at work as well I have to as I drive for a living so the company has to have a copy of my license and there is all the legal paperwork , insurance , social security and a host of others to tend too. I will eventually be out at work but it will be a slow process , I have not even been in the office since December so any changes however slow will be abrupt so cation is required. I changed my SS card the same day and my license the next and went to get an ID card as well. Some explanation with my job a male persona is a necessity so my license is in male mode while my ID card is for me as myself.

Congratulations, having your name change is a big move. Did you also do a gender change? In Minnesota we can do both name and gender change at the same time. It saves time and money.

CONGRATS to YEW !!
:Party2:
You'll be surprised by all the places you have to go and get the darned thing changed. Start a list, it helps avoid missing one. Do Drvs lic at the same time as Credit Cards, if you have to show the lic as ID and they don't match .... :thumbsdn:

Teri Jean I did try for the gender change as well but I was handed a form which must be filed out by my Doctor first so That will have to wait awhile. As I said this is going to be a long process so I suppose it is good I am a patient woman. I do have a long list of things to do just with my name change so I can only imagine what the gender change will be like when that comes.

YOU GO GIRL!!! :w00t: Yeah it was a nerve racking day or two (probably more for me lol) http://www.vfkfanforums.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/952753.gif (http://www.vfkfanforums.com/forums/index.php?app=forums&module=post§ion=post&do=reply_post&f=15&t=3255#) but I am like so totally happy for you. I'm like so glad I got to see your face, http://www.vfkfanforums.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/659982.gif (http://www.vfkfanforums.com/forums/index.php?app=forums&module=post§ion=post&do=reply_post&f=15&t=3255#) so thrilled, the morning of and after the court thingie. I'm as excited as you were/are, maybe more. I wouldn't trade anything for the time we spent together. I was like so totally proud of how we went about our daily business as two everyday normal girls and your demur was not even one iota near freaking out, you were so totally at home in 4 days of public dealings. You're there as far as being out in public is concernedhttp://www.vfkfanforums.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/821749.gif (http://www.vfkfanforums.com/forums/index.php?app=forums&module=post§ion=post&do=reply_post&f=15&t=3255#). Sorry about the bad eating habits, http://www.vfkfanforums.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/243329.gif (http://www.vfkfanforums.com/forums/index.php?app=forums&module=post§ion=post&do=reply_post&f=15&t=3255#)oh well you only live once.
