I have not had on heels since New Year Night. I have not had on hose since March (for warm). I enjoy jean capris and very feminine sandals, showing off my painted toenails. Out in my yard I don't even wear makeup...hahahaha...I am such a woman..hahahahaha.

Life is good. Am I the only one?

HAd a similar discussing about this with a TS woman I know in real life.
the going all-out femme gets old.
What you wear sounds similar to my daily wear and probably a lot of TS.

It just at first one wants to go all out and wear all these sexy things but you get to a point where though you want to live as a woman or at least express a femme side, you want to do so with as little hassle as possible.

It just means your femme side is more grown up. You are getting more comfy.
I mean you do have to wear shoes, pants, and a shirt anyways, why not femme attire?

I think the true balance of confort in the TG life, be one CD or TS is when you are more comfy in casual wear and no longer obsess over the heels, hose, skirts, makeup, crazy hair...

GG's don't run around decked to the 9's very often. Why should we?

Yes indeed. Some days are diamonds, but not all of them. I have a lot of flexibilty in when I dress but I'm not dressing fully as often as I dress partially. I seem to understand the women wearing pajama bottoms a tee shirt and flip-flops at Walmart a little better now. I don't support it, but I do understand it.

At least 99% of the time is casual time so why not dress casual? I do. Grocery shopping and errands I wear a nice blouse, jeans and sneaks. Maybe mascara and a touch of eyeshadow and a neutral lipstick.

Bre is the same way. She spends most days dressed quite casual and without makeup. I love how beautiful she looks naturally and it makes those times when she dresses up truly awe inspiring. :daydreaming:

No make up? No perfectly coiffed wig? No high heels No skirts no pantyhose?????Say it ain't so...please how would a real GG react? How can you say you feel "girly"? no no I refuse to listen to such talk.:notlistening:

You have distilled the essence of femininity into, hey if it feels good wear it. However your card had been put on suspension, if within the next 40 years you don't don a dress or heels, we will have to report you :)

Same for me Emily. I only wear hose, pumps and such in the cold months. In the warm months its the casual woman for me. Love capris and sandals, to show off my painted toenails too.

Report her? Hell if it's 40 years, then we'll take all her girly clothes & shoes & give them to needy newbies.

Hey, we could start a rehab farm for such people- "what we have here is a failure to communicate" ( that's a movie quote for those that don't get it ):heehee:

I would also point out, some of us ( namely me ) were obsessing about our hair when we were five years old, many years before I had ANY thoughts about crossdressing.

I guess I am crazy.

I consider hose and skirts MY CASUAL clothing. LOL

I like to wear them, and don't wear them to appear feminine.

The make up and wig I wear for parties, or photoshoots.

Would like the option of looking my androg self for every now and then casual, but certainly not all the time.

That does it! Penance is 12 hours a day in a corset for 7 days. :spank:

Gee, maybe some of you are turning into real women, as GG's have largely quit wearing pretty dresses, stockings, high heels, and nice makeup. Say it ain't so.

I know for a fact that sales of high heels are dramatically up over the last few years. Make up sales haven't gone down either.

I also see (anecdotal) a lot more women wearing dresses these days.

I simply could not go a day without wearing my stockings and heels, that's just who I am.

I don't doubt that, it's just seems like I see fewer and fewer women wearing nice makeup and high heels. Maybe I should move.
I hear that most car accidents occur within 5 miles of home. Maybe I should move.

Yep. Also, drive on the sidewalks. All the accidents are happening out in the streets! :D

Different areas have different fashion sense. I know in my work place (about 50/50 men/women) there's always a few women per day wearing heels. Our building projects heel clicking sound through the steel girders. When a person walks in heels in uncarpeted areas, you can here it for quite some distance, through walls even.
