Sat down and began watching a tv show that my wife had turn on, It was five women sitting around discussing how to organize your purse. I have always been fastinated all my life by anything girly. Typical me I was deeply involved in watching the show. My wife says she can't stand watching this show because all they do is always have a bunch of women sitting around talking about boring things. She rather sit with a bunch of men and listen to whatever they want to talk about. I told her I rather sit with a bunch of women anyday talking about fashion, makeup, cooking, baking, sewing, knitting or anything girly. She laughed and said "you would" and got up and left. I turned back to the tv and continued to watch how to organize a purse.
Guess I'm just a "girly girl". :battingeyelashes:

So, any tips you can pass on about organizing your purse? :)
(Not intended as a totally facetious question ... I always feel so awkward when I have to go digging for something in front of others.)

Well don't ask my wife she walked out. :heehee:
They told people not to try to keep everything in their purse. Instead only keep the absolute bare necessities in your purse. Everything else you have in your purse you should keep in your car or in a bag in your office desk.
Now that everything in your purse is in your car or office desk I guess next week's show will be about organizing you car and office. :heehee:

Girls talk about clothing, fashion, and shoes too...
...when we are in ear shot of men...
Otherwise, we are continuously plotting word domination.
Your wife is giving our ruse away.

Vicki, let me put it this way:
You've been shaving all your adult life and it is just something you do. Same with driving a car (or maybe rebuilding the motor if you are into these things). So would someone who is new at it (such as a teenage boy or a FtM) be more manly than you just because they are more excited about doing these things than you are?

HI.
The subject matter,
is whats being talked about as said if your a novice then yes , its all new no matter your moter ( car ) or male clothes , here of cause its womens fashon & related details. its your interest for now . or how ever long ,
As to clothes my subject is renassince & edwardian & with in those groups ,
yet we women spend more time in talking about the afternoons
& outings we are going to & have planed. or are working to wards its a matter of balance .
We have a life that involves people every day so for us its dont think about some details because its every day for us,
So Vicki
Your s o is right & yes i had a laugh as well, & i was thinking oh dear, ((men ))

Well for me I would have watched it and took a few tips myself, however my purse is not that bad I learn a long time ago to keep it simple:) I would be interested on what a man should carry in his massager bag or as some call a man purse:)

Hmmm, how about wallet, lipgloss, powder, hand lotion...
Well perhaps not all that!!! ;) Not sure I'd ever see myself during the murse thing anyways.

No, you are not more girlie than your wife. She has a bit of biological advantage over you in the girl department.

i dress more Girly than my wife, she is happier when lounging in vest top and Trackie bottoms, whereas I like to dress up but that's where being more Girly than her ends
She is a beautiful, understanding Woman, loving wife and mother,She is MY favourite Girl and after all she has been one all her life, not a part-time, late starter like me:).

I guess i could have picked a better title for this thread than I did "Am I more girly than my wife?".
I was actually just making an observation. All my life 50 some years I have felt like a girl inside and I still love and are fascinated by anything feminine. If I would have been born with a body to match my mind I would have been an extremely feminine girl. :o
I have always felt more comfortable sitting with women who are talking about things like fashion, makeup, etc. I never have felt comfortable talking with men. It's because I identify more with the women. My wife who is what I would describe as a feminine lady who loves being a woman never was envolved even when she was young in what you might say was "girly" things. She has always preferred men for friends rather than women. I think because of the attention she gets although she would deny it. She has no time for "girly" things not because she has already lived it and has been there, done it type thing. It's just she was never that type. Funny, I am that girly type. Who says God doesn't have a sense of humour. :D
I know people would say that the reason I am so interested in girly things is because I don't live it every minute every day but after 50 some years I can assure you even if I was a woman in body as well as mind I would be extremely girly even after all these years. :battingeyelashes:

As Reine suggests above, we are probably find discussions about clothing, make up, etc more fascinating simply because we have not lived with these topics all our lives... We had to sit on the periphery longing to be included.
