SCC Dilema

So, I am totally psyched for SCC. However, i have committed to myself that i will tell me wife about it. Now, she knows about my dressing, but does not approve. She has no idea that I go out beyond a hotel room. If you have seen some of my posts, you know that i am very out! So, this will be the first time she will know that i go beyond the closet. I am excited but scared as heck to bring this up. Any suggestions?

I'm glad you want to tell her. Secrets are not good in a relationship. My suggestion is to present it to her this way.

This is probably THE SAFEST place for a CD to go out. EVERYONE at the hotel is either a CD, trans, spouse or friend of a CD, etc..

If you do go to the mall, restaurant, etc. you will be with a bunch of CD's. There's safety in numbers.

Of course, you can always ask her if she wants to come (she will probably say no).

There is a right or wrong way to tell her. More importantly there isn't a better or worse way to tell her. Sounds like no matter what or when she is not going to accept very well.

I am trying to get my plans worked out for SCC. So if I get to go, I hope to see you there. Good luck telling her.
