Went out for the first time dressed as rhps

So on my home from vacation last night my friend texts me asking if i wanted to join him and a group of friends to see rocky horrow picture show that night.

If you dont know rocky horror picture show is a big cult classic film where alot of people go to watch the movie and see actors act it out and get dressed up and such.

So i agreed to go and my cousin who i was driving home with told i was going to need to get dresses up in some way. now i told my friends this and one of them (doesnt know about me) says i should go in drag. this struck me as a great idea because i could easily go out dressed and have it be completely acceptable.

so i got home and had my cousin do my makeup for me then i got dressed up in a pair of pantyhose a black dress and a pair of very tall heels. when i got to the show all of my friends were surprised. although i was dressed up i didnt get any flak from my friends like a anticipated. actually my friends were really cool about it. Actually alot of the girls were giving me compliments along with saying they which their legs could look as good as mine do in heels (hehe i didnt know cross country for three years could help my female side so much).

so we went intot the theatere and watched the movie without any problems besides a couple girls giving me flirty looks haha. and i went home got cleaned up and went to bed. I cant wait until the next show my cousin is going to help me get a wig and help me get really dressed up so i can go to dinner before hand.

While I personally do not classify RHPS as a "going out" kind of thing because many people, if not all, who go will be dressed in some kind of costume for the movie, I myself played Frank-N-Furter on cast for more years than I care to remember. LOL

It was an outing and that is good for you. Now, here's a question for you. Does your cousin know about this aspect of your life? If not, you have a perfect opportunity to come out to them as they are helping you dress etc. ;)

Rocky Horror Picture Show is one of the best things you can do i swear it. Not only is it fun, but you get to dress with no worries, like you said. My room-mates and friends go to it every Saturday, first Saturday of every month rather. part of a group for it. It's so much fun and know one cares.
