I notice that when I go for a hike / bike ride / XC ski, and I push myself really hard, my desire to change sex or crossdress is greatly diminished. The desire will usually return within a day or two. Is this caused by changes in hormone levels?

I don't know, its the total opposite for me. When I get a good work out and I'm feeling thin and taut, I just feel sexier and want to dress more.

Exercising increases the libido.........Period. End of story.
That's today's lesson on the human body. have a nice day!:)

But cardio and rrunning make for a nice svelte figure.

I love running and that it keeps me slim, which keeps me out of the plus sized women's stores and I can wear a greater variety of women's clothing and look good (at least according to me).

But I am competitive with myself when running road races, so one of the reason I have not gone down the hormone path is because it would be diminish my running ability. Also growing breasts would be hard to hide in tight or minimal clothing runners wear.

I do have muscular legs and a fairly slim upper body, but many women have large legs/thighs.

Exercising / working out by itself, not so much. I think I contribute the lack of desire to CD to supplements and muscle pills, etc one takes in conjunction with exercising. At least that seems to be my experience.

Interesting, but a tough one for me to figure out!

I exercise at a women's exercise center, so I always have to be en femme there. But there may be something to what you say since I often seem to have an unusual desire to go drab after I get home from a workout.

Hi,

Are you looking at this from a male or female there are a few differences that need to be looked at first.
Male ,
most have a driving force with in them to compeat & allso the strengh to go with it . the bodys make up is very different ,

Female .
not the same driving force that does not say women cant do it just not many .
strength is in other ways having babys pain lots of details going on there .
Hormones do play a big part in every thing we do . just to much detail to go in to.

& how you balance food = weight , strength = to body size shape or bone thickness .
& your own self esteem

now your thinking as to not wonting to dress or not has not changed , say after running hard out or other sports your body mind goes in to another mode if you like or your thinking about an other detail that requiers your full attenion as well as your body.
Yes i did a lot of hard out bike rideing .speed paceing , & walking,

Now when i was working hard out i would not be thinking about how i dressed or not because i was in other ways was putting my thinking in to that , & it can be quite different for each one, or as Jos would say to vocused.

Possibly. But we are all different in how we react to the various hormones that exercise has an effect on.

Then again, it could be your mindset when doing these activities. You might be pushing the macho thing, being more aggressive, etc.

For me, exercise doesn't change my desires.

When I exercise, I usually imagine Lexi as my trainer standing beside the machine coaching me on, telling me to "Work harder because I'll have a more bangin' body" (her words). Sorry, artist's imagination running overtime :)

So to answer the question, it affects me in a positive way. I want to look better en femme and I can't wait to show off my hard work as both a boy and a girl (or both)

Hmmm, you may have a point, Donna. I do push myself pretty hard, sometimes just to prove that I can do it. Could be a macho thing, or also an age thing. I'm in shock sometimes that I am approaching my mid 40's, and I still want to be able to do what I did in my mid 30's.

I exercise 7 days a week at a local YMCA. When I finish, I usually feel like taking a nap!!

Opposite for me also. The more I exercise and work-out, the more feminine I feel.

I'm in the "more exercise = more fem" camp.

The more I tone and shape up and loose fat and inches, the more the longing for that darling, oh so cute, killer mini, in size 6.

I don't go over the the side of the gym where all the heavy weight black iron is, I rather use the resistance machines at low weight and do high reps.

Exercise has helped me to shape my body (slowly) toward a more svelte and feminine figure; I've got a long ways to go, but exercise is helping. It has not diminished my CD activity, quite the contrary.

I try to do mostly feminization body exercises now a days, gone are the heavy weight low rep days. I may also enroll in yoga ballet to further my body shape and tone.

I mostly weightlift and the desire to dress definitely does diminish into obscurity for a few days after a balls-to-the-wall workout.
