Some times the simplest things can bring joy into your life. I was discussing my upcoming Halloween costume with a good GG friend Sunday morning at Church and mentioned that I bought a corset to go along with it. She was all excited (she's always wanted a corset) and asked where I bought it from. I told her I would send her the link later. After I got home I did so, telling her I found it through Google. I'm not out/open/whatever with anyone except my wife and am slightly trying to quell some of the questions I'm likely to get. When I sent her the link I also asked to not think to weirdly of me because of the "specialty" aspect of the sit (Glamour boutique). this is the response I received.

Oh, nice!!!! Thank you! They both have some very pretty corsets and I loooove the vintage dresses.
I don't think you're weird. Even if you dressed up for fun on your own, I still wouldn't think you are weird.

I love this girl like a little sister, and I think that she's guessed my secret by now. Could be worse.:battingeyelashes:

haha, probably but it seems like she has the right attitude towards it. I can definitely see how that made your day :)

Maybe your wife could arrange a night out? Does she have friends that you'd feel comfortable coming out to?

I promised my wife that I wouldn't tell anyone. That's part of our agreement when we got married. BUT, If my friends haven't at least started to figure it out by now they're blind. I am spending way to much time, money, and effort on my "Once" yearly costumes. If asked directly I don't think that I'll deny anything, but I'm still not volunteering. It is nice to know I have a friend like her though.

My list of female friends who have guessed continues to grow. A friend of mine who intends to dress up as a maid with me at Halloween was talking to me yesterday and was talking about how I would enjoy my dress more than once. "you'll wear it more than once" was oft repeated. For those who want to keep your preferences quiet... don't do it too well, too often, or spend too much money on it. Personally, for me it's kind of a relief.:cool:

i wish she had any friends that i could even tolerate let alone have fun with. i have always clashed with my wife's best friends, even from the time we were just dating.
