pretty much decided to heck with male underwear, I'm just going under-dressed from now on. Have to admit, while the panties are more comfortable, how they sit, and the way a bra feels is going to take some getting used to.

I did the same thing some time ago- there isn't a male undergarment in my dresser anymore. It was as much a statement (to myself) about who I am as it was about comfort or texture.

...but I think my wife would freek! She knows about my CDing but doesn't like it, and I'm afraid that taking this step would cause too many problems. It is something that I've been thinking about though... :daydreaming:

I started wearing panties everyday a while ago and I have no regrets.

Hiding a bra, if that's your goal, is going to take some planning.

I only have camis, panties, women's socks.... No men's drawers in my drawers!

the way a bra feels is going to take some getting used to.

Stick with it though; I've been wearing a bra for some time now and a lot of the time I just forget I've got it on:)

I have been in panties only for 4 years. I only keep a set of men's undies around for when I have to go to the VA for a check-up.
I do ware bra's in the winter under a flannel shirt as not to show lines.

I've been underdressing for some occasions when I'm reasonably sure I won't be found out.
I had an underwire bra on and am sure the girl at the Mac Donalds counter figured it out because she whispered to another girl after she waited on me. The other girl just looked at me and smiled. It's not a big deal if someone figures it out, but I try not to be in a situation where someone knows me or my family.

You know, it's really interesting to hear some of you think panties are more comfortable than men's underwear. Personally, being the other way around, I truly believe men's boxer briefs are incredibly comfortable and panties really not! :heehee: Maybe there's a mental preference that influences the physical?

Trust me, it'll take about 3 weeks at most and you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner. I don't even think about my bra during the day, unless one of the straps slips a bit on an older one that's getting past it's "use by" date and is stretched out.

As for "boxers" being "more comfortable" .... it's quite simply, a mechanics thing going on. If there isn't anything to flop around, I suppose they'd be ok, however I'm after a particular look and boxers don't do it for me, because I have something that needs control

Ze, I wonder if it's self-image more than comfort. Although I will not wear patently uncomfortable panties. Vanity Fair, Jockeys (the stretchy ones AND the cotton ones), Warners, Hanes cotton, all feel great to me. The Balis I've tried, not so much. I love Olga style, but they're borderline comfy to me.

If we were all the same, there would be one type of undies, n'est ce pas? The variety is part of the fun to me. I used to own a week's worth of male undies. Now I own a month's worth of panties.

In my experience sports bras are just as visible as regular. True, you don't have the adjusters or back hooks but the outlines are still there and will still be seen if your shirt is too thin or too tight.

I have been wearing panties exclusivly for the last 4 months, with the exception of a weeks vacation. At that time I came to the conclusion that I don't like the feel of male undies at all. I have also become very comfortable wearing a bra. I don't regret for one minute changing over! :)

The panties are more comfy for sure and the feeling of a bra around me really helps me relax.

once you start wearing a bra, you won't stop and the same for panties. I have 2 sets of drab pants, just don't wear them, I prefer underdressing 24/7. I'm to the point that putting a bra on is the first thing I do when I get up in the morning, well acutually its the second, the SO insists I wear a bath rob with the grands around.

Alice

Maybe there's a mental preference that influences the physical?

Probably. We're wearing the clothes we want to, not the ones society expects us to.

I haven't gone so far as throwing my male underwear out yet, but it is coming. I wear panties and bra all day around the house since I live alone and work out of the house.

I wear panties everyday; ditto pantyhose and slips. My wife bought most of them for me, and all my pants are women's pull ons (many with plain fronts). She "bought into" the panties, pantyhose, and slips as they all have a non-CD raison d'etre. Wearimg a bra would be a tougher sell, as they are not androgynous. I am wearing one now, and have worn it "out" wnder a tee but will take her bra off before she gets home. My thinking for an androgynous bra is a bra slip, but the smallest available cup is usually too large for a > 40 bandwidth.

I went through a period when I did wear panties under my guy clothes for a couple of months. I got tired of it and now I'm back to wearing men's briefs again. In my opinion they both feel very comfy. But the panties are more special to me when I wear them with a dress or skirt. Maybe it's the way my brain is wired I guess!
