Do any of you ever 1/4 or 1/2 CD?

Let me explain what I mean. A few times I had went to some private parties or out to a bar, I CD'd. I put nail polish on my fingernails and toenails. I also have a few accessories. I can easily take off the wig, close, and accessories. But the nail polish I have to actually take some time to remove. Usually the next day I'll remove the fingernail polish before I go back in public in drab. But a few times I kept the toenail polish on for days until I decided I wanted to wear flip flips instead of tennis shoes. Then I removed it. Just knowing when I'm in the store or out in public and I have on the toenail polish just makes me feel very feminine. It's like, I notice that women in public have all these cute accessories on and their toenails and fingernails polished. And sometimes I'm like, "Damn! they get to have all the cool stuff." The accessories I have are these blue colored shell things that go around my wrist and this other thing that goes around my ankle. They're both really cute.
I mean, yeah, I could go out in public in drab with my finger and toenails polished, my accessories, and lip gloss, but it would draw attention because I'm visibly male. That's what I mean by 1/4 or 1/2 CDing. Do any of you ever do that? Keep polish on for days and go out in drab? Or anything like that?

I always have my fingers and toes polished.

Fingers are a sheer pink which almost looks natural except for the shine. Toes are generally a little darker. Not a standout red or green or blue, but some moderate colour with some sparkle and shine. No worries about open shoes (sandals or flip flops).

I may even be wearing a kilt when out in drab. BTW, the ladies usually like the look, and have commented the I am "stylin'".

I always have my toes painted. Also wear sandals both men's and womens. no one seems to care. My fingernails are alway painted but clear coat. I usually wear womans jeans/pants and tops. The more androgenous kind. I guess i am alway at least 1/2 sometimes 3/4. Trying to push that encelope to fully dressed.

I always have my toenails painted and my arms and legs are always shaved.
I don't think I could even go back to being completly male.

About 95% of the time I'm a 100% woman, with the plumbing, the other 5% I'm at least wearing panties and femmy eyewear. :battingeyelashes:

My toenails are always painted. I always wear panties and sometimes a bra with or without forms. On weekends my nails are painted in the same polish as my toes. I wear perfume. I go out like that. Nobody has ever said anything but I've had some double takes

I have acrylic nails and have my toes painted (dark colors-brown, red etc). I wear sandals most of the time (year around). I have a gold dolphin earring in both ears. Yes I can the double take and some just stare but not most.

Im at a stage where I don't give a rats ass!

That's the spirit! I'd like to get to that point, but right now I gotta draw the line at clear polish on the toes and that's it :/

Right now I still have my toes painted the bright shiney pink I did for last Saturday. I like 'em so much I haven't removed the color yet, but I've also been wearing shoes out every day since..

I prefer my nails to have the natural look.

I have gone out in drab wearing makeup on my face though.

I've been wearing polish on toes 24/7 and a little make up when I'm out in rather androgynous attire, girly sandals...so maybe yes 1/3 CD.

No matter how drab I may seem at first, there's no hiding it with me.
I have long hair (what's left of it) my ears are pirced, brows always done, I often have eyeliner, and lip gloss, legs are always shaved, I have a french manicure on my long nails, and my toes are usually somthing visible. Oh yea, and I cary a denum purse with ebriders flowers to.

I wear nail polish all the time now , and a couple of nice bangle on my wrists it just gives me a little lift when i am at work during the week.

The girl who sits next to me at work is always talking to me about make up and asking me if her nail varnish looks nice, and we have a good girly chat.
Not sure is she suspects anything but , i think she,d be cool about my girly secret.

I try to keep my toes varnished with colour varnish most of time, when I do have to remove the varnish I usually reapply in when possible.
As for my finger nails these have to be unvarnished because of work. But even then I sometimes wear clear gloss varnish.

A couple of months ago while I was on holiday, I wore light brown tights with sandals and on some days even wore shorts or 3/4 trousers. With the tights and the toenail varnish clearly visible through the tights. And no-one seemed to notice or make any comments that I heard.

I had a pair of womens sunshades. they broke. I need to get another one. I loved wearing them! And I would wear them while driving and when walking into the store. I also have some lip gloss I put on sometimes. Makes me feel so feminine. Maybe eventually I'll get to a point where I leave my nails polished and don't care.
Also would be cool to put on makeup. Some light concealer and eye shadow.

Shifting genders does require some compromises on both sides. Eyebrows are one of the most obvious. If we have them shaped, then they can't easily be unshaped. I've been trying to strengthen my nails so they are always covered with OPI Nail Envy (to good effect for the strengthening) and if anyone looked closely it would certainly be noticeable. Since I have lost come considerable weight my wife insists that male jeans look terrible on me and I've only worn woman's low-rise jeans for a few years. We all moisturize and such every day, and that surely separates us in look from the "standard" male. We trim our hair in a variety of places (ever notice that older males usually don't trim their ear hair!!! ..yuck).

The list just goes on and on. If we really are going to jump back and forth between genders, we are all, effectively, partially "dressed" all the time!

When I was first starting to go out I went to a salon. After having my hair done for a party I was going to (fem style) the woman suggested she touch up my eyebrows. I of course aggreed. They looked wonderful for a woman. my nails were also done as well as toes and makeup. When I went to work the following monday in what I thought no one could notice. A woman I worked with noticed the eyebrows and the light pick nail polish on my fingers. Yes I was embaressed but I also realized that once you start on this level of self acceptance you will be noticed sooner or later. 90% of other people never noticed but over several years and adding more to what I wear. It does get noticed however most people just don't care and don't really say anything to you. So I think just make yourself happy and do what you feel you need or want to.

Disregarding crossdressing, I have never understood why men don't have their eyebrows shaped.

Some guys look hideous.
