Just a small irritation in my life but, I like bracelets that sparkle. Inset diamonds [not real] But I can’t tell you how many ladders I have put in my pantyhose or stockings. I just have to brush a leg with a bracelet and that’s it!
Please make Suzy feel better and say she is not the only one.
Have fun, SUZY

Suzy, you are not the only one. I can snag a stocking in a dozen klutzy ways!

Can't say as I've ever snagged them with a bracelet. My arms aren't quite that long :hiding:

Talking about snagging things....I simply Love dangly earrings, but I also choose to wear long wigs, which after a couple of hours fiddling around taking photos & shifting locations &c. end up seriously tangled in the innards of the dangly parts of the earrings.
To change outfits I need usually to remove the wig, and off the errrings must come too...to be disentangled.
I'm not into bracelets, yet.

The only time I ever snag nylons and sensitive tops is with jewelry, the cheap stuff. I have found that I now give all jewelry the soft touch test with my fingers to make sure that there are no rough or sharp edges to snag things. It works most of the time, but, unfortunately, not always.

Donna, it's not that one's arms are that long, but that one's skirt is that short!

No Suzy you are not the only one. Sometimes I think that I just have to look at stockings/tights to get a run, but most of the time its finger nails. Just can't seem to get rid of the rough edges!

Oh dear, what a familiar tale! And the finer the denier the worse it gets girls, doesn't it? How many pairs of red and black lace tops do I get through in a year?

You're certainly not alone, it usually happens to me when I have driven 20 miles or more to an event. I arrive at the car park, and go to change into my heels then snag the stockings with my bracelet (I like that diamond look too) as I reach down. It's really irritating!

Runs are never a problem, I buy my pantyhose by the dozen, and change as needed. I didn't know you needed diamonds or such to run a pair of hose, I have began to believe I can do it by thinking I want to put them on.

P.S. maybe thats why so many women have stopped wearing them!

no worries....it is simply a part of life and dressing. just keep plenty of spares on hand. i wreck my share of nylons doing chores around the house and sometimes playing outside. sometimes when hanging out at home....a run can add character...so leave them on.
