A couple of things that I would like to try but am afraid to because it would affect my appearance while endrab is to go to a salon and get my hair rolled up in curlers and then go under one of those hair dryers.

The other thing is to get a both a manicure and a pedicure. Sometimes I just want to do this in another city where I would not be found out.

Being unemployed right now all of this is unlikely. Its too bad I could not find a woman who would be willing to do this for me in private.

Really sorry about your unemployment situation right now. Hope you can find something soon.

It's always hard to take any new steps in the crossdressing world and beauty salons/nail shops/etc. are some of those doors we find hard to open at first. But once you make it through the door, you'll wonder why it seemed so hard from the outside looking in.

Rather than look for someone to perform these services in private, I would recommend going to the regular places. Yes, I know the fear, but, overall, I think it is a more fulfilling activity.

Don't worry if you're not ready, take your time and take smaller steps to build your strength. One day you'll know it is time.

Thanks Persephone, the only thing is I do not know if I would want my hair to stay curly after the rollers. Plus I am sure it cost a bit for it too.

I know what you mean about the cost I to have been out of work for to long but what you might try is if you have a school of cosmetology the students will work on you for just the price of the product. and a instructorwill be right there.Give it a shot
